Abstract: Patient access interfacing means and patient isolation means comprising same. The means comprising adjustable patient viewing means, patient access guards and means for attaching to the patient isolation apparatus, the adjustable patient means including means for visual examination of a patient, the means for attaching to the patient isolation apparatus including sealing means for sealing a junction between the patient isolation apparatus and the patient access interfacing means, patient access guards being adapted for allowing non-exposed manual access by the hands of an operator to the patient under protected conditions, the patient viewing means and the patient access guards being mounted on a main platform which is supported on inflatable means so that the distance of the main platform relative to the main housing being adjustable through inflation and deflation of the inflatable means.
