  • Publication number: 20100226714
Abstract: A screw-free release mechanism comprises a first article disposed with an elastic arm and a first guide unit in which the elastic arm is coupled to a first end of a releasing arm. A second end of the releasing arm is disposed with a buckling unit and the first guide unit guides a moving direction of the releasing arm. When the releasing arm is moved toward a first direction thereof, the elastic arm will be caused to deform to generate an elastic force pushing the releasing arm to move toward a second direction thereof; entire components of the releasing mechanism are few, the structure is simple, and the releasing arm can then be allowed to assemble conveniently onto an article without needing screws. Whereby, the assembly efficiency and the production yield factor of the release mechanism can be elevated so as to reduce the production cost.

  • Publication number: 20080298026
Abstract: A holder for a portable electronic device is provided. The holder includes a anchoring portion and two latches to define a clamping area. The anchoring portion and the two latches are respectively disposed at each end of the holder. Each latch has a bent elastic arm and a hook extending from the elastic arm. The two latches are engaged into a fixing hole of the portable electronic device through the hooks, and the two latches provide elastic force in vertical and horizontal directions by the elastic arms. Therefore, the latches may be firmly engaged with the portable electronic device, for preventing latches from being disengaged from the portable electronic device when the holder bears an unexpected external force.

  • Patent number: 7211755
Abstract: A knob structure is disposed on an electronic device to input a preset control signal. The knob structure includes a rotary encoder, a brake wheel, and a rotary wheel. A plurality of ratchets is disposed around the circumference of the brake wheel and locked on the rotary encoder. The rotary wheel is rotatably disposed on the body case of the electronic device and is nested on the brake wheel correspondingly. A block is disposed on the rotary wheel to be embedded between the ratchets, so as to control the rotation of the rotary wheel to generate a preset control signal by causing the brake wheel to drive the rotary encoder to rotate. The rotary wheel and the brake wheel are engaged non-fixedly, so as to prevent the rotary wheel and the body case of the electronic device from interfering with each other.
