  • Patent number: 7658499
Abstract: A projector has a case, a zoom lens, a zoom ring, a control plate, a lodging element, a control rod, and a handle. The case has an opening, and the zoom ring is disposed within the case and nearby the opening, the zoom ring is moved back and forth to drive the zoom rod. The control plate is mounted on the case and laid over the opening movably, the lodging element is movably contacted with the control rod, wherein the handle accepts the force along the extending direction of the rectangular opening so as to let the control plate move the lodging element along the extending direction of the rectangular opening and further to move the control rod for continuously regulating the focal length of the zoom lens.

  • Patent number: 7405892
Abstract: A lens module including a base, a sleeve, a lens, a magnetic permeable column, a coil supporter, a coil, and a magnet set is provided. A bottom of the base has a plurality of bumps. The sleeve is rotatably disposed on the bumps. The lens is disposed in the sleeve, and the magnetic permeable column is disposed beside the sleeve. The coil is disposed between two holes of the coil supporter. The magnetic permeable column is disposed through the holes and the coil. The magnet set is disposed beside the coil. The sleeve has a plurality of step portions and each bump contacts the corresponding step portion. When a current is provided to the coil, the electromagnetic force produced between the coil and the magnet set moves the coil along the magnetic permeable column, to push the coil supporter and accordingly rotate the sleeve coupled with the coil supporter.

  • Publication number: 20060244927
Abstract: A projector includes a casing having a front wall formed with a first opening and a second opening. A heat dissipating structure includes a plurality of elongated fins mounted vertically within the second opening in the casing, a connecting rod disposed in the second opening to extend in a horizontal direction and fastened operably to the fins in such a manner that a horizontal movement of the connecting rod in the second opening results in a tilt angle of the fins with respect to the front wall of the casing, and a push rod fixed to one of the fins and projecting outwardly from the casing via the second opening. The push rod can be manually manipulated in the leftwise or rightwise direction of the casing to result in a change of the tilt angle of the fins relative to the front wall of the casing.
