  • Patent number: 11259229
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide an electronic device. The electronic device can include transceiver circuitry and processing circuitry. The transceiver circuitry can be configured to receive signals from wireless service provider networks. The processing circuitry can be configured to detect, from the signals, a high speed rail (HSR) signature of one of the wireless service provider networks. The HSR signature can indicate that the one of the wireless service provider networks is a first network for a high speed rail usage. The processing circuitry can also be configured to determine a mobility of the electronic device based on the signals in a time duration. Further, the processing circuitry can be configured to selectively camp on a first cell of the first network based on the mobility of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 9509366
Abstract: The present application provides an interference estimation circuit which includes a signal generator, a first symbol extractor and a first mixer. The signal generator generates an orthogonal signal orthogonal to partial symbols of a plurality of pilot signals. The first symbol extractor extracts partial symbols of a first decoded signal decoded from a received signal wherein the first decoded signal contains one of the plurality of pilot signals, and includes an input node for receiving the first decoded signal and an output node for outputting a first extracted signal. The first extracted signal is substantially orthogonal to the orthogonal signal. The first mixer is coupled to the signal generator for receiving the orthogonal signal and to the first symbol extractor for receiving the first extracted signal, and outputs a first mixed signal of the orthogonal signal and the first extracted signal for interference estimation.

  • Patent number: 9319971
Abstract: A frequency adjustment method is provided for adjusting a frequency of a reference oscillating signal from an initial oscillation frequency to an adjusted oscillation frequency. The frequency adjustment method includes steps of: dividing a frequency scan section into M scan frequencies; down-converting a signal according to the M scan frequencies to obtain M down-converted signals; performing a correlation calculation operation on the M down-converted signals, respectively, to obtain M correlation results; grouping the M scan frequencies into N frequency groups each containing P selected frequencies, with the P selected frequencies corresponding to P consecutive scan frequencies; performing a group calculation on the N frequency groups, respectively, to obtain N group calculation results; and selecting a target frequency group from the N frequency groups according to the N group calculations results, and obtaining the adjusted oscillation frequency from the target frequency group.

  • Patent number: 7822108
Abstract: The invention provides a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) receiver for sampling a received CDMA signal into a plurality of samples. The CDMA receiver comprises a sampling control module, a code generator, and a plurality of despreaders. The sampling control module delays the samples for a plurality of different delay lengths to obtain a plurality of delayed samples respectively corresponding to each of the delay lengths, and adjusts timing of a sampling trigger signal and a code generation trigger signal according to a sampling timing adjustment signal. The code generator generates a despreading code according to the code generation trigger signal. Each of the despreaders is configured for decimating the delayed samples corresponding to each delay lengths according to the sampling trigger signal to obtain a plurality of decimated delayed samples, and despreads the decimated delayed samples with the despreading code to obtain a plurality of output signals.

  • Patent number: 7580498
Abstract: The invention provides a method for dynamically changing the loop bandwidth of a closed loop control system. At least one loop bandwidth parameter controls the loop bandwidth of the closed loop control system. An error signal reflecting the convergence status of the output signal of the closed loop control system is first detected. The at least one loop bandwidth parameter is then dynamically adjusted according to the error signal to change the loop bandwidth of the closed loop control system. A feedback signal of the closed loop control system is then generated according to the loop bandwidth. Finally, an input signal of the closed loop control system is compensated with the feedback signal to generate the output signal.
