  • Patent number: 11754189
Abstract: An inflatable seal includes an annular body made of elastic material. The inflatable seal includes a chamber disposed in the annular body. The inflatable seal includes a fixing end and a movable end opposite to the fixing end in a cross section. The inflatable seal further includes first and second sides interconnected between the fixing end and the movable end and opposite to each other. The fixing end includes an annular lining disposed in the annular body. The sealing ability of the inflatable seal is improved in the axial direction and the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 10605255
Abstract: A shaft-sealing device for a pump includes a seal housing attached to a pump housing in which a rotary shaft is mounted. The seal housing is provided with a coolant inlet passage and a coolant outlet passage, both of which interconnect with a seal space in the seal housing. The coolant outlet passage intersects with the seal space at an opening at which first and second sides are defined according to a flowing direction of a coolant. The seal space includes an inner annular surface having a first section adjacent to the first side of the opening. A guide slot is provided in the first section of the inner annular surface. With a pump ring in the seal housing rotating, the coolant is guided into the seal space via the coolant inlet passage and further discharged from coolant outlet passage through the opening smoothly due to the guide slot.

  • Patent number: 8419019
Abstract: A magnetic fluid shaft-sealing device includes an outer ring for receiving a rotary shaft. A magnetic-field generating unit is mounted in an annular seal chamber of the outer ring for receiving the rotary shaft. A seal ring is mounted in the seal chamber of the outer ring and located between a magnet of the magnetic-field generating unit and an end of the outer ring. The seal ring includes inner and outer peripheries spaced in a radial direction. A lip extends from the inner periphery of the seal ring toward or away from the end of the outer ring and is at a non-parallel angle to the radial direction of the seal ring to form a seal around the rotary shaft.

  • Patent number: 8366116
Abstract: A shaft-sealing device includes an outer ring for receiving a shaft sleeve to rotate therewith. A magnetic-field generating unit is mounted the around rotary shaft and includes inner and outer magnetic rings. The outer magnetic ring is mounted in the outer ring. A gap is defined between an inner periphery of the outer magnetic ring and an outer periphery of the inner magnetic ring and is filled with a magnetic liquid. One or both of the inner and outer magnetic rings provide magnetic force to retain the magnetic liquid in the gap. A seal ring is mounted between the outer magnetic ring and an end of the outer ring. A lip extends from an inner periphery of the seal ring toward or away from the end of the outer ring and is at a non-parallel angle to a radial direction of the seal ring to form a seal around the rotary shaft.
