  • Publication number: 20090091712
Abstract: A beam combiner for combining a first color beam, a second color beam, and a third color beam is provided. The beam combiner has a transparent substrate with a first optical surface on which a first reflective film reflecting the first color beam is disposed, and a second optical surface on which a second reflective film reflecting the second color beam is disposed. The first optical surface and the second optical surface are parallel. The second color beam entering the transparent substrate is reflected by the second reflective film and leaves the transparent substrate by passing through the first optical surface, while the third color beam enters the transparent substrate from the second optical surface and leaves the transparent substrate by passing through the first optical surface. The optical paths of the first, the second, and the third color beam are substantially coincident after emerging from the first optical surface.

  • Publication number: 20080304024
Abstract: An optical engine for a projection display device includes a housing, a light source module, an imaging unit, and a projecting mechanism. The housing includes a base wall and a surrounding wall cooperating with the base wall for defining a receiving space with an opening. The light source module is disposed at a side of the housing for providing an illuminating light beam into the receiving space. The imaging unit is disposed in the receiving space, and includes a display element and an optical lens set. The projecting mechanism includes a lens barrel having first and second barrel ends, a projecting lens disposed at the second barrel end, and a coupling element formed on an outer surface of the lens barrel adjacent to the first barrel end. The coupling element is configured to have a size and shape corresponding to those of the opening, and is disposed to cover the opening and to seal the receiving space.

  • Publication number: 20080273245
Abstract: A beam splitting module is disposed on a base plate of a light source system, and includes a supporting wall, a beam splitting lens, and a biasing member. The supporting wall has a first wall surface, and is disposed on the base plate such that the first wall surface extends perpendicularly from the base plate. The beam splitting lens has a first lens surface disposed adjacent to the first wall surface of the supporting wall, and a second lens surface opposite to the first lens surface. The biasing member is secured to the base plate, and is disposed adjacent to the second lens surface of the beam splitting lens for urging the beam splitting lens toward the supporting wall such that the first lens surface of the beam splitting lens abuts against the first wall surface of the supporting wall.

  • Patent number: 7064910
Abstract: A projection lens movement-adjusting apparatus comprises an adjusting module and a projection lens module. The adjusting module comprises a fixed support, an adjusting rod, a sliding seat and a fixing portion. The adjusting rod is pivoted to the fixed support. The sliding seat is mounted inside the fixed support and screwed to the adjusting rod. A fixing portion is disposed on one side of the sliding seat. The projection lens module is composed of projection lens and the linking unit fixed to one side of the projection lens, and a protruding board is on one side of the linking unit and is fixed firmly to the fixing unit and hence the projection lens module can be connected with the sliding seat.

  • Publication number: 20040165855
Abstract: A holding apparatus for an optical integration rod is installed outside of an optical integration rod. It comprises a holder which is a heat sink substrate with fins disposed at the outside surface thereof. A thermal conductivity material is filled in between the holding apparatus and the optical integration rod to allow the heat yielded in the rod to be guided out through the thermal conductivity material and then to be transmitted to the holder to carry away by way of a natural or forced convection manner so as to attain to a heat dissipation effect. Because the holder has a broader heat exchange area and the heat conduction function of the thermal conductivity material is better than air, the heat contact resistance between the holder and the rod can be reduced so as to enhance the heat dissipation efficiency.

  • Patent number: 5203540
Abstract: A hydraulic lifting device is used to lift a chassis part, such as a gearbox, and includes a mobile base and an upright prop which extends upwardly from the mobile base and which has a top end that is provided with a stationary pivot seat. A connecting bar is used to support the chassis part thereon. A driving crank arm has one end which is hinged to a first hinge point on the pivot seat and the other end hinged to a first hinge point on the connecting bar. A driven crank arm has one end hinged to a second hinge point on the pivot seat and the other end hinged to a second hinge point on the connecting bar. The pivot seat, the driving crank arm, the driven crank arm and the connecting bar cooperatively form a parallel crank four-bar linkage. A hydraulic cylinder has one end pivoted to the upright prop and another end pivoted to the driving crank arm. The hydraulic cylinder is operated so as to pivot the driving crank arm toward or away from the upright prop in order to adjust the height of the connecting bar.
