  • Patent number: 11941298
Abstract: A host system initiates an abort of a command that has been placed into a submission queue (SQ) of the host system. The host system identifies at least one of a first outcome and a second outcome. When the first outcome indicates that the command is not completed and the second outcome indicates that the SQ entry has been fetched from the SQ, the host system sends an abort request to a storage device, and issues a cleanup request to direct the host controller to reclaim host hardware resources allocated to the command. The host system adds a completion queue (CQ) entry to a CQ and sets an overall command status (OCS) value of the CQ entry based on at least one of the first outcome and the second outcome.

  • Publication number: 20240080505
Abstract: A method, comprising: detecting an outage of at least one functionality in a live streaming; performing an first operation toward a second user terminal; storing data of the first operation in a database of the first user terminal; and displaying an effect corresponding to the first operation during the outage. The present disclosure may store the data of operation performed by the user terminal during outage and process the operation after the outage is recovered. Therefore, the streamers and viewers may feel interested and satisfied, instead of feeling anxious, and the user experience may be enhanced.

  • Patent number: 11916957
Abstract: A technique to stop lateral movement of ransomware between endpoints in a VLAN is disclosed. A security appliance is set as the default gateway for intra-LAN communication by overwriting the DHCP responses. Message traffic from compromised endpoints is detected. Attributes of ransomware may be detected in the message traffic, as well as attempts to circumvent the security appliance. Compromised devices may be quarantined. Additionally, the DHCP address assignment may be policed to ensure accuracy and correctness to provide an additional layer of security.

  • Patent number: 6029521
Abstract: A method for measuring the cover thickness of a reinforcing bar in concrete. An impacting device and a receiver are disposed on the concrete surface along the longitudinal axis of the reinforcing bar with a predetermined distance H provided between the impacting device and the receiver. Then, an impact is applied on the concrete surface by the impacting device, to generate a dilatational wave which propagates into the concrete and is totally refracted at an interface between the concrete and the reinforcing bar, and is received by the receiver. Then, the cover thickness of the reinforcing bar is calculated according to the travel time for the dilatational wave from the impact device through the reinforcing bar to the receiver.
