  • Patent number: 6954675
Abstract: An audio chip with switchable audio output pathways that can be connected to an external circuit board comprises: an operational amplifier, a first output end, a second output end, a means for connection switch, and a status register. An audio signal is outputted to the external circuit board via a first output end of the audio chip. The operational amplifier receives the audio signal that, after amplification, is outputted to the external circuit board via a second output end of the audio chip. According to the connection configuration of the first and second outputs of the audio chip with respect to the external circuit board, an operator can adequately switch the means for connection switch so that a plurality of sound adjusters can control the audio signal delivered by the audio chip.

  • Patent number: 6925508
Abstract: A recording method for improving interrupted interferences, for use in a recording apparatus. First, a buffer is allocated, and then, the size of the buffer is checked. If the size of the buffer is smaller than a minimum recording segment, an alternative buffer is allocated; otherwise, data is recorded to the buffer. Then the data is recorded to the alternative buffer, the data in the alternative buffer is interpolated to the buffer.

  • Patent number: 6801961
Abstract: A method for solving intermission of streaming data. A digital controller is used to transmit streaming data stored in a storage unit. The digital controller includes a base recording unit and a trigger recorder. The method comprises steps of (a) writing an initial address of a streaming data to the base recording unit when the streaming data is being transmitted; (b) changing a content value of the trigger recorder, and proceeding to the step (a) and a step (c) simultaneously; (c) transmitting a corresponding streaming data according to one of the initial address(es) stored in the base recording unit by the digital controller; and (d) proceeding to the step (c) when the trigger recorder indicates that there are data remained to be transmitted.

  • Patent number: 6522986
Abstract: An apparatus for testing a main board processing circuit for joystick buttons. The apparatus is used for testing the processing circuit of a main board, wherein the processing circuit is coupled to the joystick through a connector. The apparatus contains a test tool and a short-circuit node, wherein the test tool contains M pins, corresponding to M pins of the connector, for coupling the test tool with the connector. N pins of the M pins of the test tool correspond to the N pins of the connector, which are connected to the buttons. The short-circuit node is the common node of the N pins that are all short-circuited for simulating the actions of the joystick buttons. In the test, the connector is firstly connected to the test tool and the status values stored in a status register are detected. The connection is then disconnected from the test tool.
