  • Publication number: 20160216559
Abstract: A backlight module for providing backlight to a display panel includes a plurality of light sources, a plurality of optical elements corresponding to the light sources, and a circuit board. The circuit board is electrically connected to the light sources, and defines a plurality of predetermined regions corresponding to the optical elements. Each of the predetermined regions includes a plurality of patterns on an upper surface of the circuit board. The patterns in the same predetermined region form a series of concentric rings centered on the corresponding light source. The patterns adjusts a transmitting parameter of the light to be reflected by the corresponding predetermined region.

  • Patent number: 8823669
Abstract: A touch panel includes a display module, a touch sensor, an anti-noise unit and a signal processing unit. The display module generates a noise. The touch sensor is disposed above the display module and outputs an abnormal signal, wherein the abnormal signal includes the noise and a sensing signal. The anti-noise unit is adapted to receive the abnormal signal and then reject the noise so as to form the sensing signal. The signal processing unit is adapted to process the sensing signal.

  • Publication number: 20130222279
Abstract: A touch display apparatus including a display panel, a touch panel, a gate driver and a touch sensor is provided. The touch panel is disposed corresponding to the display panel. The gate driver is coupled to the display panel and the touch panel so as to sequentially output a plurality of scan signals to the display panel and sequentially output a plurality of driver signals to the touch panel. Here, the output time of the scan signals and the output time of the driver signals are not overlapped. The touch sensor is coupled to the touch panel and calculates a touch position according to a sensor signal outputted by the touch panel.

  • Patent number: 8243219
Abstract: Each pixel of an LCD display includes a main pixel, a sub-pixel, a resistor, and a third switch. The third switch is used for controlling the charging time of the main pixel and the sub-pixel. A data signal of a main pixel of a previous pixel is utilized to pre-charge the main pixel and the sub-pixel, and then data is transmitted to the sub-pixel and the main pixel. When data transmission to the sub-pixel is ended, the data transmission path to the sub-pixel is switched off, and the data keeps being transmitted only to the main pixel. The LCD panel utilizing this method only needs to add one gate line at each of the top and bottom of the panel to realize the AMVA structure of 8-domain for the LCD panel.

  • Patent number: 8217886
Abstract: An LCD device includes a plurality of first data lines, a plurality of second data lines, a plurality of display units, a source driver and a gate driver. Each of the second data lines is disposed between two corresponding first data lines, while each display unit is coupled to a corresponding first data line and a corresponding gate line or to a corresponding second data line and a corresponding gate line. The source driver is coupled to the plurality of first data lines and the plurality of second data lines for providing a plurality of data signals. Each of the data signals is outputted to a corresponding first data line during a first period in a write period, and outputted to a corresponding second data line during a second period in the write period.
