  • Publication number: 20070279312
Abstract: A planar antenna disposed on a substrate (100) includes a metallic ground plane (200), a radiating part (300), an open-short transforming part (400), a joint portion (700), and a feeding part (500). The metallic ground plane is laid on the substrate. The radiating part transmits and receives radio frequency (RF) signals, and includes a first bent portion (320) and an open end (310). The first bent portion is electrically connected to the open end. The open-short transforming part is electrically connected between the radiating part and the metallic ground plane, and includes a second bent portion (430). The joint portion connects the open-short transforming part and the radiating part, and defines a recessed portion (701). The feeding part is electrically connected to the joint portion, for feeding signals.

  • Patent number: 7292190
Abstract: A UWB printed antenna (1) printed on a substrate (10) includes a body (100a) for radiating and receiving electromagnetic signals, a signal feeding part (400) for inputting electromagnetic signals to or outputting electromagnetic signals from the body (100a), a first feeding part (200), a second feeding part (300), and a third feeding part (500). The first, second and third feeding parts are electronically connected to the signal feeding part for feeding electromagnetic signals to the body. A first body part (201), a first feeding end (202) and a second feeding end (203) of the first feeding part collectively form an “F” shape. A second body part (301), a third feeding end (302) and a fourth feeding end (303) of the second feeding part collectively form an inverted “F” shape. The third feeding part, a first radiating end (101a) and a second radiating end (102a) collectively form an “H” shape.

  • Patent number: 7205943
Abstract: A printed antenna on a substrate for radiating and capturing radio frequency signals includes a ground portion, a feeding element and a radiating portion. The radiating portion is a main body of the printed antenna, and includes a connecting patch and a radiating patch. One end of the connecting patch is electronically connected to the feeding element. The connecting patch is tapered, with a width thereof gradually decreasing in a direction toward the feeding element. The radiating patch is electronically connected to the connecting patch, and has an inverted V-shape.

  • Publication number: 20070040748
Abstract: A dual-band antenna for radiating electromagnetic signals of different frequencies includes a ground portion (500), a feeding part (400), and a body (100). The feeding part (400) is for feeding signals. The body (100) includes a first radiating part (110) and a second radiating part (120). The first radiating part includes a bent portion (115), a first free end (111), and a first connecting end (112). The bent portion (115) is between the first free end (111) and the first connecting end (112). The first connecting end (111) is electronically connected to the feeding part (400). The second radiating part (120) includes a second connecting end (122) and a second free end (121). The second connecting end (122) is connected to the first connecting end (112). The shorting part (200) is between the body (100) and the ground portion (500).

  • Publication number: 20060145925
Abstract: A planar inverted-F antenna includes a body (300), a feed wire (400), a shorting strip (500), and a metallic ground plane (200). The body is used for radiating and receiving radio frequency signals, and includes a radiating end (310) and a shorting end (320). The shorting end is electrically connected to a metallic ground plane by the shorting strip. The feed wire is electrically connected to the body. The body includes bent portions (330, 340) disposed between the shorting end and the radiating end. Due to the bent portions, the planar inverted-F antenna has a compact profile and a smaller size. In addition, the bent portions generate an inductance effect that can regulate the input impedance of the planar inverted-F antenna.
