  • Publication number: 20110019641
Abstract: A mobile node (MN), a WiMAX base station (BS), a Wi-Fi access point (AP) and a handover method therefore, for use in a heterogeneous wireless network system, are provided. The heterogeneous wireless network system comprises a gateway. The WiMAX BS and the Wi-Fi AP can interchange messages with each other via the gateway. There is an overlap service area between the WiMAX BS and the Wi-Fi AP. The MN accepts a network service, which is provided by the gateway, via the WiMAX BS. When the MN enters the overlap service area, it may handover to the Wi-Fi AP without interrupting the network service so that the gateway may provide the network service for the MN via the Wi-Fi AP.

  • Publication number: 20110019640
Abstract: A mobile node (MN), a take-over point of attachment (PoA) and handover methods thereof for use in a heterogeneous wireless network system are provided. The heterogeneous wireless network system comprises a gateway, a first wireless network and a second wireless network which is heterogeneous to the first wireless network. The first wireless network and the second wireless network comprise the take-over PoA and an original PoA respectively. The take-over PoA and the original PoA have an overlapping service area. The MN receives a network service from the gateway via the original PoA so far. As soon as the MN enters the overlap service area, the MN builds a link with the take-over PoA in the data-link layer immediately so that the original PoA may handover to the take-over PoA without interrupting the network service.

  • Publication number: 20100125909
Abstract: A monitor device, a monitor method and a computer program product thereof for hardware are disclosed. The hardware comprises a central processing unit (CPU) and a storage module. The monitor device comprises a retrieval module and an analysis module. The retrieval module is configured to retrieve the entry point information of a process before the process is executed, wherein the process comprises at least one instruction from the hardware. The analysis module is configured to retrieve an address corresponding to the process according to the entry point information. When the CPU executes the at least one instruction, the storage module records the at least one instruction according to the address.

  • Publication number: 20080146233
Abstract: A positioning module positions a location of a mobile communication apparatus. A processor determines whether the location falls within a predetermined range, wherein the predetermined range is equal to or greater than an effective communication coverage of a neighboring base station. If the processor determines that the location is within the predetermined range, a signal detection module measures the signal from the neighboring base station. By detecting the signals of the neighboring base stations earlier, the present invention is able to function while the mobile communication apparatus moves at high speeds and successfully switch the connections between the base stations.

  • Publication number: 20070206888
Abstract: A quick tear open specimen bag for use such as by gloved medical personnel including first and second panels connected along side and bottom edges to define an interior accessible through an open top. A pair of sealable portions extend proximate the open top and are engageable to close the interior after depositing a specimen therein. A third panel secures in overlaying fashion to a selected one of the primary panels to define a second interior for receiving an indicia insert. Gripping lines are configured into each of the first and second panels, between the sealable portions and the interior, and upon being engaged create an even and smooth edged tear to reveal the primary and secondary interiors.

  • Patent number: 7251864
Abstract: A slider for assembly over first and second extending and reclosable portions associated with a resealable bag, each of the reclosable portions includes an opposing and biasingly mating profile extending along upper edges of the bag. The slider includes a main body exhibiting a central portion and first and second hingedly attached and foldable wings. The central portion exhibits a splitter element, the foldable wings defining therebetween a resealing element. A substantially ā€œUā€ shaped and assembleable cap portion is engageable upon the main body and upon the body being pre-positioned relative to the extending reclosable portions such that the splitter element separates a first location of the reclosable portions. The wings further fold downwardly against opposite sides of the bag such that the resealing elements define therebetween a narrowed passage for rejoining a second location of the reclosable portions.

  • Patent number: 7044639
Abstract: A recloseable bag with slider end stops prevents sliders from slipping off the end of fastener elements and being lifted off the end of the fastener elements. The recloseable bag includes a bag, slider end stops, fastening elements and a slider. The fastener elements are configured to interlock when pressed together. The slider includes flanges and a pair of slider ends. The slider slides along the length of the fastener elements to interlock and unlock the fastener elements. The flanges prevent the slider from being lifted from beneath the fasteners elements and the end stops. The slider ends are configured to receive and engulf end stops. The end stops are configured to protrudes above the slider to abut slider 110 while also allowing entry into slider.
