A method for making the shielding can includes the following steps: providing a mold; placing a shielding case in the mold; injecting shock absorbing material into the mold to form a cushion on the shielding case; cooling the molded shielding can; and removing the shielding can from the mold.

Abstract: The invention discloses a shell for portable electronic devices which includes a main body and an opaque ink layer. The main body is made of translucent material and includes an outer surface and an inner surface opposite to the outer surface. The opaque ink layer is coated on the inner surface of the main body except for a design area on the inner surface of the main body. Through masking, the design area may incorporate any desired decorative pattern such as a logo, a call id pattern, a message prompt pattern, a charging pattern or some other design. The design area is an area surrounded by the opaque ink layer and the inner surface is exposed through the design area. The invention also discloses a method for making the shell.

The printed circuit board has at least one hole therein. The pin is disposed on the plastic frame. The slot is formed on the pin and extends along the major axis of the pin. The first constraining part is disposed on the side surface of the pin for constraining the printed circuit board between the first constraining part and the plastic frame. The liquid crystal panel is held by the plastic frame and electrically connected to the printed circuit board.
