    Abstract: A power conversion apparatus including a power converter, a first output port, a second output port, a load detection circuit and an output selection circuit is provided. The power converter generates a first and a second output voltages having different voltage specification. The first and the second output ports respectively provide the received output voltages to a back end. The load detection circuit is coupled with the power converter and the second output port and detects a load requirement of a load connected to the second output port to generate a load detection signal. The power converter generates a first switch control signal according to the load detection signal to control the output selection circuit, such that the output selection circuit provides one of the first and the second output voltages in response to the first switch control signal.

The converting controller controls an amount of the driving power source responsive to a current or a voltage of the load. The load driving modulator and the load, connected in series, are coupled to the output end and so the load driving modulator adjusts an electronic state of the load. The charge spike protection circuit is coupled to the output capacitance and at least one connecting node of the load and the load driving modulator to provide a unidirectional charge release path to the output capacitance.

    Abstract: A LED (Light-Emitting Diode) driving circuit including at least one light-emitting unit and a protection detecting circuit, is provided. Each light-emitting unit includes an LED string coupled to a driving voltage, a current regulator and a transistor. The current regulator is coupled to a corresponding LED string and controls a current flowing therethrough. The transistor is coupled between the LED string and the current regulator. The protection detecting circuit generates a clamping reference level signal to a control terminal of the at least one transistor and is coupled to a connection node of the at least one transistor and the at least one LED string. When a voltage of any connection node is higher than a preset protection value, the protection detecting circuit decreases the clamping reference value to reduce or cut off the current of the at least one LED string.
