    Abstract: A pattern and spectrum security one-time printing of packaging verification method for verifying the authenticity of an external packing container of a commodity, which external packing container is printed with a security pattern on the surface using a specific spectrum of tangible fluorescent ink. The user checks the location of the security pattern by visualizing the tangible fluorescent ink on the external packing container, and then uses image capturing device to shoot the security pattern through a filter to capture the pattern image of the tangible fluorescent ink, a processor of the identification system loads in the captured pattern image, a software program in the processor matches the spectral band and shape of the captured pattern image with storage data in the database to verify the authenticity of the security pattern. The user can identify the authenticity of the commodity, enhancing commodity security and reducing the risk of being forged.

    Abstract: A method of simulating print color on mobile devices, comprising: obtaining a second group of tristimulus values by a chromaticity measuring device through a measuring method; creating a CIEXYZ color space of the mobile device by the second group of tristimulus values, and transforming the CIEXYZ color space to a sRGB color space via a 1D lookup table and a transformation matrix; obtaining a print color from a ICC profile of an output device by 3D lookup table and generating a second color calibrated profile by finding another color, similar to the print color from the ICC profile of the output device, in the sRGB color space through tone mapping; and simulating the print color on a screen of the mobile device by using the second color calibrated profile, whereby the user can directly preview the printed photo on the screen thereby achieving saving print ink and time.

    Abstract: The present invention is suitable for a computer to (printing) plate to generate specific color accurately, applied data conversion modules included in Profile technique to generate specific color. Drafting software is developed for the pre-print designers adjust CMYK four colors process for printing in allowable proportion to meet the customer's color specification. A tour guide test table composed of 600 colorants is printed out by CMYK color printer, and a subsequent test table constructed by moving colorimeter or spectrophotometer through the colorants, first a forward module constructed by converting CMYK into CIEL*a*b*, and then a reverse module converting CIEL*a*b* into CMYK constructed by optimizing solutions of delta error convergence and error estimates methods. After measuring the CIEL*a*b* values of the specific color by colorimeter, applied the forward and reverse modules to predict CMYK color values in allowable proportion, achieve a better, speedy, and accurate drafting effects.
