  • Publication number: 20150022751
Abstract: A driving method for a liquid crystal display (LCD) device is disclosed. The LCD device includes a plurality of data lines and a plurality of thin film transistors (TFTs). The driving method includes restoring data of a plurality of sub-pixels of a first frame, wherein the sub-pixels corresponds to the plurality of TFTs; arranging a turn-on order of the plurality of TFTs on each of a plurality of data lines according to the data of the plurality of sub-pixels; and turning on the plurality of TFTs on each of the plurality of data lines according to the turn-on order.

  • Patent number: 8836627
Abstract: A liquid crystal display apparatus and a pixel driving method are provided. The liquid crystal display apparatus comprises a pixel array, a scan driving circuit and a data driving circuit. The pixel array comprises a plurality of first pixels, a plurality of second pixels, a plurality of third pixels and a plurality of fourth pixels. The scan driving circuit is configured to activate the first pixels and the fourth pixels sequentially and then activate the second pixels and the third pixels sequentially. The data driving circuit is configured to supply a first polarity data signal when the first pixels and the fourth pixels are activated and supply a second polarity data signal when the second pixels and the third pixels are activated.

  • Patent number: 8289098
Abstract: Exemplary gate pulse modulation circuit and sloping modulation method applied thereto are provided. The gate pulse modulation circuit has an output terminal and includes a voltage modulation circuit and a comparator control circuit. The voltage modulation circuit is electrically coupled between a gate power supply voltage and a second voltage and subjected to the control of a sloping control signal to perform a sloping operation and then output a sloped voltage signal. The comparator control circuit includes a comparing unit and a switching unit. First and second input terminals of the comparing unit respectively are electrically coupled to a node and a first voltage. During the voltage modulation circuit performing the sloping operation, a magnitude relationship between a voltage on the node and the first voltage decides on-off states of the switching unit and thereby decides the moment of the first voltage delivered to the output terminal.
