  • Patent number: 8144638
Abstract: A system and a method thereof for dynamically adjusting sleep/awake intervals of a wireless network device are provided. The system has at least one base station (BS) and at least one wireless network device. The system performs the method to dynamically adjust the sleep/awake intervals by properly delaying and combining delivery of data such that the wireless network device is turned into a sleep mode after finishing data delivery within an adjusted period. Thereby, the number of awake frames of a mobile subscriber station (MSS) can be reduced without sacrificing the quality of service (QoS).

  • Publication number: 20120055319
Abstract: A multi-key electronic music instrument includes a main body and a circuit board having an integrated circuit (IC). The main body includes operational keys distributed in at least two rows and functional keys. The IC saves at least seven electronic sounds corresponding to music notes of Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La and Si in the diatonic scale, functional programs and electronic games. Each of the operational keys corresponds to at least one music note. When one of the operational keys is pressed down, the IC generates a sound corresponding to the music note. When the functional key is pressed, the IC executes the corresponding function in the functional programs, such as raising or lowering a tone of the music note. When the electronic games are played, the operational keys and the function keys are used as controlling keys to play games.

  • Publication number: 20100078890
Abstract: A bidirectional board game includes a playing board, and a plurality of playing pieces. The playing board has a matrix of squares defined by horizontal lines and vertical lines configured on a surface of the playing board. The squares are allocated in two regions identified for the two players, respectively. Each square allocated to both of the players includes a diagonal line. The playing pieces are divided into two distinguishable families each controlled by one of the two players. Each family includes a sovereign piece and a plurality of numeral pieces indicating a numeral 1 to 5. When playing the board game, the two players alternate moving the playing piece. The numeral indicated on the numeral piece is the maximum number of steps allowed to move in one action. Which hostile playing pieces can be captured by the numeral piece is determined by the numeral indicated thereon.

  • Publication number: 20080305899
Abstract: Toy ball includes a transparent hollow ball surface layer having a seal opening, a designed article connected with a string to a block body, and is disposed inside the hollow portion of the transparent ball surface layer. Furthermore, liquid is mixed with the bright glitter pieces, can be injected into the ball from the seal opening, and is filled inside the hollow portion of the transparent ball surface layer. As the toy ball is shaken, the bright glitter pieces inside the ball can be fully suspended all around in the liquid. In addition, the designed article is to produce a shaking motion inside the liquid of the ball because it is constrained by the string attachment, thus the visual effect of the toy ball can be enhanced.
