  • Publication number: 20150243050
Abstract: To make it possible to accurately grasp an exposure state even in the case where noise is included in captured image data. An input image data acquisition unit configured to acquire input image data including a chart, a noise reduction unit configured to perform noise reduction on the input image data, and a histogram generation unit configured to generate a histogram of luminance of the input image data based on noise reduced image data are included, and the noise reduction unit performs noise reduction on the chart area of the input image data in a degree greater than that in which noise reduction is performed on an area other than the chart.

  • Publication number: 20130342662
Abstract: By the prior art, it was not possible to cope with a change in the way colors are viewed depending on the posture of a viewer. An image processing device for an image display system including glasses having polarizing elements and an image display device, characterized by having a color correction unit configured to perform color correction processing on image data indicating an image to be displayed based on inclination information of the glasses with respect to a display screen of the image display device.

  • Patent number: 8478031
Abstract: Image processing in which input image signals are converted into output image signals represented as a combination of colored and colorless colorant amounts. For each pixel of an input image represented by the input image signal, it is determined whether the pixel belongs to a high or low density range. For each pixel belonging to the high density range, it is specified whether the pixel belongs to a high or low frequency region of the input image. Color conversion with a 1st conversion parameter is applied to an input image signal corresponding to a pixel belonging to the high frequency region, and color conversion with a 2nd conversion parameter is applied to an input image signal corresponding to a pixel belonging to the low frequency region.

  • Patent number: 8339666
Abstract: A profile for converting color data dependent on a source device into color data dependent on a destination device, and generation information used in generation of the profile are acquired. Adjustment conditions of the profile designated on a device independent color space are inputted. Color data stored in the profile and dependent on the destination device is converted into first color data on the device independent color space using the generation information. Adjustment is applied to the first color data in accordance with the adjustment conditions. The first color data, to which the adjustment is applied, is converted into second color data dependent on the destination device using the generation information. Color data stored in the profile and dependent on the destination device is modified based on the second color data.

  • Patent number: 8027060
Abstract: A tone evaluation method acquires color information on the second color space of a patch image corresponding to a grid point in the first color space, and calculates as the feature amount of a color conversion table the variation of the color information between two grid points in the first color space. Then, on the basis of the feature amount, a tone evaluation value for the color conversion table is calculated. In addition, on the basis of the variation of the feature amount, a tone jump position in the color conversion table is extracted and displayed.

  • Publication number: 20100322508
Abstract: According to one aspect of the invention, an image processing apparatus comprises: a determination unit configured to determine for each pixel of an input image represented by the input image signal, whether the pixel is belonging to a high density range or a low density range; a specification unit configured to specify for each pixel belonging to the high density range, whether the pixel is belonging to a high frequency range or a low frequency range; and a generation unit configured to generate the output image signal by applying color conversion with a 1st conversion parameter to an input image signal corresponding to a pixel belonging to the high frequency range, and applying color conversion with a 2nd conversion parameter to an input image signal corresponding to a pixel belonging to the low frequency range.
