  • Publication number: 20160128050
Abstract: A licensed assisted access network system and an interference avoidance method thereof are provided. The licensed assisted access network system includes a data transmitting network device and a data receiving network device. The data transmitting network device transmits a control message to the data receiving network device in a licensed band. The data receiving network device determines that an unlicensed band is not in use during a receiving end stand-by period according to the control message, and continuously transmits a receiving end channel reservation signal in the unlicensed band. The data transmitting network device receives the receiving end channel reservation signal in the unlicensed band, and transmits network data in the unlicensed band according to the receiving end channel reservation signal. The data receiving network device receives the network data and continuously transmits the receiving end channel reservation signal in the unlicensed band at the same time.

  • Patent number: 8167201
Abstract: A composite chip card with a security protection interface and a method for controlling the same are provided. The chip card comprises a carrier, at least one induction coil, at least one chip module, and at least one security protection interface. The security protection interface further comprises a mechanical security protection module and a control unit. The induction coil, the chip module, and the security protection interface are all provided on the carrier. The chip module is electrically connected to the induction coil. The mechanical security protection module is electrically connected to the chip module. The control unit is electrically connected to the mechanical security protection module. The method for controlling the composite chip card includes: contacting a system related to issue of the chip card, by a user of the composite chip card; then activating the security protection interface of the composite chip card; and finally performing a contactless payment transaction.

  • Patent number: 8127994
Abstract: An improved contactless sensing device comprises a cover plate, a case, a base, a light-guiding module, a printed circuit board, and two lateral plates. When the sensing device senses a credit card containing a specific tag, a plurality of second light-emitting elements on the two lateral plates emit light of specific colors. The light is displayed on a light-permeable sensing element of the cover plate through the light-guiding module and a second opening of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6356517
Abstract: An optical disc has a data disc, a transparent disc to enclose and protect the data disc and an annular control chip securely attached to the clamping area of the transparent disc. The control chip records the data area allocation. Consequently, the data area allocation written in the control chip will not be copied by conventional copying techniques. An infringing disc will not work even when all of the data files on the data disc are completely copied. Therefore, a good security is provided, and infringement can be avoided. In addition, the optical disc can work as a smart card after bonding with a chip on it. The function of the optical disc can be improved.
