Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a TV module and a touch screen module. The TV module is used for receiving a first TV image signal on a first selected channel. The touch screen module is in communication with the TV module and controlled by the TV module for displaying a program frame corresponding to the first image signal in a full-screen mode. The TV module receives a second TV image signal on a second selected channel in response to a handwriting operation on the touch screen module during the full-screen mode.

Abstract: A TV program appended information display system includes a display screen and a host. The host communicates with the display screen for executing an application program to receive a TV signal, showing a TV program corresponding to the TV signal on a first image frame of the display screen, and acquiring channel information associated with contents of the TV program. The host communicates with an internet to acquire TV program appended information through the internet according to the channel information, so that the TV program appended information is shown on the display screen by the host.

Abstract: A remote wake-up method is used between a first host, a second host, a server and the internet. The remote wake-up method includes the following steps. Firstly, the first host communicates with the server through the internet and an identity register procedure is performed. Then, the second host communicates with the server through the internet, an identity authentication procedure is implemented, and the server is triggered to issue a wake-up packet to the first host when the first host is in a wake-up waiting status. Afterwards, the first host enters a normal working status in response to the wake-up packet.

Abstract: A method of showing a TV channel menu includes the following steps. Abstract: A method and a system for proving a broadcasting video program with the internet are provided. The broadcasting video program provision system includes a first data server, a second data server and a portal site. By the first data server, first broadcasting video program signals broadcast in a first area are received and converted into first stream data. By the second data server, second broadcasting video program signals broadcast in a second area are received and converted into second stream data, wherein the first area and the second area are covered by different broadcasting services. In response to an instruction issued from the user's host through the internet, the portal site transmits the first stream data or the second stream data to the user's host through the internet.

Abstract: In an image display control method for use with a computer system, a main frame and a sub-frame are simultaneously shown on the display. Then, a function menu bar is displayed at an edge of the sub-frame in response to a specific action of a cursor control device of the computer system, wherein the function menu bar has a smaller area than the sub-frame. Afterwards, in response to a clicking action on a first icon of the function menu bar, the relative positions of the main frame and the sub-frame are changed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a television (TV) server cluster system including a plurality of TV servers. A TV server is negotiated from these TV servers to be a cluster server. Any end user can issue channel requirements or channel switching requirements to the cluster server through the Internet system. Then, the required channel information is transferred to a corresponding end user.
