  • Patent number: 9906449
Abstract: A system and method for reduced forwarding information storage includes extracting an organizationally unique identifier (OUI) and a MAC part from a MAC address, determining whether information associated with the OUI is stored in an OUI table, determining an OUI index based on the information associated with the OUI and the OUI table when the OUI is stored in the OUI table, generating the OUI index based on the information associated with the OUI when the OUI is not stored in the OUI table, forming a forwarding information table entry including information associated with the OUI index and information associated with the MAC part, and inserting the forwarding information table entry into a forwarding information table.

Inventors: Vinay Kumar Vavili, Chidambaram Ramanathan
  • Publication number: 20160186209
Abstract: The invention provides recombinant cells comprising detectable reporters useful in identifying agents, genes, and other modulators of circadian period length and amplitude. Such modulators are useful for resetting the circadian clock in a variety of contexts (e.g., jet lag, shift work). Such cells are also useful in selecting an administration regimen for a therapeutic agent, where the agent's efficacy and/or adverse side effects show circadian effects.

  • Patent number: 8704842
Abstract: A method and system for obtaining a histogram and related statistical values from a data set of texels is disclosed. A processing device receives from a first buffer, a data set of texels. The data set has a dimensionality D of at least two and each texel contains a value. The processing device sorts the data set into a point list of coordinates, wherein a point in the point list corresponds to a texel location in the data set. The processing device reduces the dimensionality of the point list by arranging points in the point list according to an N?1 dimensional dominancy. The processing device performs a raster operation on each associated value of the arranged points to obtain at least one value. The processing device is to output the at least one value to a second buffer. The processing device may be a graphics processing unit.
