  • Publication number: 20250113382
Abstract: A method for a User Equipment (UE) for performing uplink transmissions for Random Access (RA) is provided. The method receives, from a base station, at least one configuration indicating a first threshold and initiates an RA procedure. The method determines whether to perform Multiple Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) (MP) transmissions based on, at least, a comparison between a measurement result and the first threshold. The method then selects a PRACH resource configured for the MP transmissions in response to determining that the MP transmissions are to be performed. Performing the MP transmissions includes transmitting, repeatedly, an RA preamble, on the PRACH resource configured for the MP transmissions, before the UE begins monitoring a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) for receiving a Random Access Response (RAR) that corresponds to the RA preamble.

  • Publication number: 20250048269
Abstract: Some of the present implementations provide a method for a user equipment (UE) for receiving a power saving signal. The UE receives, from a base station, a first power saving signal that includes a minimum scheduling offset restriction between a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The UE receives a first downlink control information (DCI) that includes a second power saving signal for activating the minimum scheduling offset restriction. The UE determines an application delay indicating a time duration between receiving the second power saving signal and applying the minimum scheduling offset restriction based on a predefined value. The UE applies the minimum scheduling offset restriction to a first scheduling offset between the PDCCH and the PUSCH transmission after the application delay.

  • Patent number: 12200739
Abstract: A method for multicast service data reception is provided. The method determines whether a first PDCCH addressed to a first RNTI is received on a first BWP. When a BWP inactivity timer is configured, a default BWP is configured, and the first BWP is not the default BWP, the method (re)starts the BWP inactivity timer after determining that the first PDCCH is received on the first BWP, and switches to the default BWP when the BWP inactivity timer expires. When the BWP inactivity timer is configured, the default BWP is not configured, and the first BWP is not an initial BWP, the method (re)starts the BWP inactivity timer after determining that the first PDCCH is received on the first BWP, and switches to the initial BWP when the BWP inactivity timer expires.
