    Abstract: A method for a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by the UE, downlink control information (DCI) for a downlink (DL) scheduling assignment (DL-DCI), the DL-DCI indicating a first uplink (UL) carrier associated with a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resource configuration for transmitting an aperiodic UL transmission for uplink control information (UCI), and transmitting, by the UE, the aperiodic UL transmission for UCI in a second UL carrier without a PUCCH resource configuration, where the UE determines a resource allocation of the second UL carrier based on the DL-DCI. The DL-DCI includes at least one of: a UL/supplementary UL (SUL) carrier indicator, a Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ)-ACK resource indicator (ARI), a sounding reference signal (SRS) request field, a HARQ timing indicator, or a channel station information (CSI) request.

The UE receives the system information change indication via a currently active BWP in a BCCH modification period. The system information change indication notifies the UE that contents of system information have been changed. The UE switches from the currently active BWP to an initial active BWP to receive the changed contents of system information which are required for the UE. The UE receives the changed contents of system information via the initial active BWP in a next BCCH modification period that immediately follows the BCCH modification period. The UE updates the system information according to the changed contents.

Once the beam recovery success indication is received in RRC sublayer, the RRC sublayer may determine to consecutively receive a number of in-synchronization (IS) indications. If the number of the consecutively received IS indication is larger than or equal to a threshold number by comparing, the radio link is identified as being recovered.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured with at least one bandwidth part (BWP) specific configuration information. The UE receives a configuration information specific to the bandwidth part (BWP). The configuration information configures an initial value of a beam failure detection (BFD) timer and a beam failure indication (BFI) count threshold. The UE starts or re-starts the BFD timer from the initial value when receiving a beam failure indication (BFI) from a lower sublayer, and counts a number of the received BFIs using a BFI counter. The UE resets the BFI counter to zero when receiving a reconfiguration information. The reconfiguration information, that is specific to the BWP, re-configures at least one of the initial value of the BFD timer and the BFI count threshold.
