  • Publication number: 20070164230
Abstract: A patient alignment system for a radiation therapy system. The alignment system includes multiple external measurement devices which obtain position measurements of components of the radiation therapy system which are movable and/or are subject to flex or other positional variations. The alignment system employs the external measurements to provide corrective positioning feedback to more precisely register the patient and align them with a radiation beam. The alignment system can be provided as an integral part of a radiation therapy system or can be added as an upgrade to existing radiation therapy systems.

  • Publication number: 20050281374
Abstract: A patient positioning system for use with a radiation therapy system that monitors the location of fixed and movable components and pre-plans movement of the movable components so as to inhibit movement if a collision would be indicated. The positioning system can also coordinate movement of multiple movable components for reduced overall latency in registering a patient. The positioning system includes external measurement devices which measure the location and orientation of objects, including components of the radiation therapy system, in space and can also monitor for intrusion into the active area of the therapy system by personnel or foreign objects to improve operational safety of the radiation therapy system.

  • Publication number: 20050246856
Abstract: A simple dust collector includes a housing, a base plate horizontally separating the interior of the housing to form a motor chamber for fix a motor to rotate a fan covered by a fan cover under the base plate. A sucking passageway and a wind-exhausting hole are formed under the fan cover, and a tube joint is connected with the sucking passageway connected to a dust tube. The plurality of wind outlets are formed in a lower section of the housing and sealed by an airy cloth ring to filter dust from wind. The housing has an opening in a lower side and the opening is fitted with a dust bag for dust carried by the wind generated by the fan from the passageway and swirled by centrifugal force caused by rotation of the fan to fall and be collected in the dust bag.

  • Publication number: 20050161945
Abstract: A cantilever wind-exhausting pipe includes plural inflexible pipes, plural flexible pipes and plural joint members respectively provided between every two inflexible pipes to be pivotally turned to adjust the wind port of a lowermost inflexible pipe to a proper position. The joint member is provided with a torsion spring fitted on a pivotal bolt connecting two sets of connecting plates. The torsion spring has its opposite ends respectively pressing the two sets of connecting plates and compensating the gravity of the lower inflexible pipes. When a frictional force between the two sets of connecting plates and friction rings positioned therebetween is somewhat adjusted in advance, the lower inflexible pipes will be kept in place not to move downward, able to freely and quickly adjust the wind port of the lowermost inflexible pipe to any position.

  • Publication number: 20050126136
Abstract: A device for fixing a dust-collecting bag on a dust-collecting machine includes a wind-exhausting box having an annular fit base formed with a curved engage surface shrinking inward at the upper inner wall, and a dust-collecting bag having its opening portion wrapped therein with a flexible tightening ring. After slightly pressed inward and deformed, the opening portion of the dust-collecting bag is received in the annular fit base and the dust-collecting bag is pulled outward to make the tightening ring inside the opening portion firmly stuck on the curved engage surface by its expanding resilience. After the tightening ring is disengaged from the engage surface in the wind-exhausting vent, the dust-collecting bag can be removed from the wind-exhausting box, quick and easy in assembling with and disassembling from the annular fit base.

  • Publication number: 20050000055
Abstract: A dust-removing device for the dust-collecting tank of a dust-collecting machine includes a guide frame installed inside the dust collecting tank and having a central guide rod for a brush base to move up and down thereon. The brush base has its outer circumferential edge provided with numerous brushing bristles able to reach the folded grooves in the inner wall of the dust-collecting tank. A pull unit is provided with plural pulley bases for a pull rope to pass therethrough. Two handles are respectively fixed with two lines of the pull rope exposed to the outer side of the dust-collecting tank, and the pull rope has two ends fastened with the brush base. When the two handles are moved downward alternately and repeatedly, the brush base can be moved up and down to carry out cleaning of the dust-collecting tank.
