Abstract: A pre-braking warning device for vehicles is designed to be installed on a brake pedal of a vehicle and has a bottom substrate, a pressure-sensing unit mounted in the bottom substrate and a cover attached over the pressure-sensing unit and the bottom substrate. When the pressure-sensing unit detects that a driver's foot is placed over the brake pedal, even if the brake pedal has not been intensely and purposely stepped on, the pressure-sensing unit sends a signal to activate a pre-braking warning light to forewarn drivers behind that the car in front is about to slow down or is preparing to stop. This pre-braking warning signal can be emitted before a regular brake signal, giving other drivers more time and more braking distance to stop their cars.

Abstract: An early warning braking system for automobiles is disclosed. An electronic detector is installed in an appropriate location next to the accelerator pedal or the brake pedal to monitor the driver's foot motion, wherein the electronic detector is connected to a pre-braking signal light through the embedded control circuitry. When the car driver's foot is taken off the accelerator pedal, the electronic detector will be able to detect the foot motion, and the control circuit will cause the pre-braking signal light to be turned on to forewarn drivers behind that the car in front is about to slow down or to prepare to stop. This precautionary signal light can be emitted sooner than the regular brake light, giving other drivers more time and more braking distance for stopping their cars.

Abstract: A safe-deposit box uses a lock using a tongue, a first mechanical device, a second mechanical device, an electromagnetic valve, a control unit and a keypad. A renter's key drives the first mechanical device from a first position to a second position for actuating the control unit. The electromagnetic valve is in a first position for retaining the first mechanical device in the second position. A code is input through the keypad to the control unit for driving the electromagnetic valve from the first position to a second position for allowing movement of the mechanical device from the second position to a third position for retracting the tongue. A clerk's key can drive the second mechanical device from a first position to a second position for driving the electromagnetic valve from the first position to the second position and turning off the control unit.
