    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described herein for integrated circuit (IC) layout validation. A plurality of IC patterns are collected which include a first set of patterns capable of being manufactured and a second set of patterns incapable of being manufactured. A machine learning model is trained using the plurality of IC patterns. The machine learning model generates a prediction model for validating IC layouts. The prediction model receives data including a set of test patterns comprising scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of IC patterns. Design violations associated with an IC layout are determined based on the SEM images and the plurality of IC patterns. A summary of the design violations is provided for further characterization of the IC layout.

According to the proposed fuel cell parallel system, each fuel cell connected in parallel can have a different output voltage, but the voltage at the load side can be maintained. In addition, the power output ratio of each fuel cell can be controlled under the nominal load conditions and the load varied.

    Abstract: A method for compensating frequency response of an actuator in an optical disc drive is provided. The present invention utilizes the temperature sensor within the optical pick-up head to sense work temperature. When the work temperature rises to a presetting threshold value, the servo system will induce the appropriated equalizer to compensate the frequency response of the actuator according to this work temperature, such that the servo controlling of the optical disc drive can operate accurately both in the high temperature condition and in the low temperature condition.

    Abstract: In a writing control method of an optical recording/reproducing apparatus, a data-writing operation is performed at a rotating speed. Meanwhile, an error signal is generated in response to a wobble signal. The error signal is periodically sampled. A counting value is obtained by accumulatively counting whenever the level of the error signal exceeds a threshold. The subsequent data-writing operation is performed at an increased rotating speed when the accumulatively counting value obtained within a preset period of time is no greater than a first preset value. The error signal can be a tracking error signal and/or a focusing error signal.

    Abstract: A cable-type actuator assembly for a cycling exerciser having a cable operated resistance adjustment mechanism and a cable operated braking system. The actuator assembly includes a caliper actuation cable operably connected to a caliper that acts on a wheel of the cycling exerciser. An actuator is mounted to the frame of the exerciser, and retains the distal ends of a brake cable and a resistance adjustment cable and is connected to a forward end of the caliper actuation cable. Actuation of either the brake cable or resistance adjustment cable moves the actuator, thereby actuating the caliper actuation cable.
