  • Publication number: 20240052097
Abstract: Methods for synthesizing a hydrogel having tunable hydrolylic degradation kinetics according to certain embodiments include synthesizing a norborene-functionalized polyethylene glycol macromer having an ester linkage between a polyethylene glycol domain of the macromer and a norbornene domain of the macromer and having a carboxyl group on the norbornene; and reacting a quantity of such macromers with a quantity of dithiol molecules by an ultraviolet-initiated photo-gelation reaction to yield a hydrogel. Such macromers and such hydrogels form additional aspects of the disclosure, as do a wide variety of methods for tuning and for using such hydrogels.

  • Patent number: 11124761
Abstract: Embodiments of the current invention include a hydrogel formed from crosslinked polyethylene glycol into which acrylated glucose oxidase has been immobilized through crosslinking to the gel. These hydrogels can be used to create hypoxia under ambient conditions for at least 72 hours and can be used to create hypoxic gradients. These embodiments permit the study of cells under a variety of hypoxic conditions.

  • Publication number: 20140052807
Abstract: A method for controlling share of a fan group comprising a plurality of fans between multiple servers, each of which generating an identity (ID) for itself. The method further synchronizes IDs among the servers and inserts the ID of each of the servers in an ID table stored in each of the servers. A control server is selected from the servers according to the ID table and a predetermined rule. The method further obtains total fan revolutions of the servers and the control server controls fan revolutions of the fan group to be equal to the total fan revolutions.
