Abstract: A combination and key operated padlock is disclosed. Turning the dials to a correct combination will unlock a shackle to align a green indication member with an indicator window and remain same when the lock is locked again by turning the dials to an incorrect combination. Inserting a key into a keyhole and clockwise turning a key turning assembly will unlock the shackle wherein a red indication member moves to align with the indicator window. Counterclockwise turning the key will lock the shackle with the color “red” still displayed through the indicator window so as to advise the owner of the lock that the lock has been opened by means of a key.

Abstract: A combination and key operated padlock includes a housing including a top aperture, a dial assembly, a key turning mechanism, a spring-biased pivot assembly, a spring-biased push button, a shackle including one spring-biased leg and the other leg having a slot proximate its terminating end, a spring-biased T-shaped detent mechanism, and a spring-biased pivotal indicator. Inserting a key and clockwise turning the key will open the padlock and project an indication member out of the aperture for advising an owner of the padlock that the padlock has been opened by means of a key. Turning the dials to a correct combination will unlock the padlock and retract the indication member into the aperture again.

Abstract: A combination lock and padlock combination as a lock is disclosed that includes a spring-biased pivot assembly comprising a locking dog and an engagement member; a push button pivotably disposed on the pivot assembly; a U-shaped shackle comprising a slotted leg for locking the locking dog; a spring-biased L-shaped catch assembly comprising a sliding member at one end and a tab projected from the other end; and a spring-biased opening warning assembly pivotably provided in the housing and comprising a locked mark at one end exposed at a window in a locked position of the lock and an open mark adapted to switch with the locked mark. Once the lock is opened by a key by one of a number of persons sharing the lock, the open mark is exposed on the window and other person(s) may be aware of same by seeing the open mark.

Abstract: Provided is a combined combination lock and padlock comprising a second shackle receiving hole including an inside slot at one leg of a shackle of steel rope for receiving a spring depressible block, a tumbler wheel assembly, a key turning assembly, a pivot assembly, a push button, and a U-shaped shackle, A correct combination of tumblers and a subsequent pressing of the push button will disengage a dog with the slot and thus expansion of the block will push the leg out of engagement with the lock. Should either the combination be forgotten or the combination be changed by another person, a turning of the shaft about 90 degrees by inserting a key into the keyhole will turn the projection and the engaged engagement member for releasing the dog.

Abstract: A combination lock comprises a first shackle, dials, a spring loaded member biased against the innermost dial, a second shackle comprising an inner arm, a moveable block pivotably coupled to the inner arm and including a spring and an opposite T-shaped slot, and a key opening mechanism aligned with the moveable block and comprising a shaft and a cross member. Inserting a key into the mechanism and turning the key will rotate the shaft and the cross member until the cross member is aligned with an opening of the slot such that pressing the second shackle will cause the inner arm to counterclockwise pivot about the member, move the moveable block outwards to compress the spring and dispose the cross member in the opening, and disengage the second shackle from the first shackle.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of manufacturing a transistor with a footed offset spacer is disclosed. The method comprises providing a substrate. The gate structure is formed on the substrate and an insulating layer is then formed on the substrate and the gate structure. A portion of said insulating layer is removed by a method of anisotropic dry etching to form the footed offset spacer at a side-wall of the gate structure, wherein the footed offset spacer is formed by adjusting a first flow rate of a first gas and a second flow rate of a second flow gas in the anisotropic dry etching. The footed offset spacer can improve time delay of the propagation and power dissipation.
