  • Patent number: 7357470
Abstract: The invention provides a printing control system for controlling a print-head. The printing control system includes a motor controller, a time-delaying generator coupled to the motor controller, and a timer coupled to the delay time generator. The motor controller is used for calculating the moving speed of the print-head reaching a printing position. The time-delaying generator is used for generating a delay time according to the moving speed. The timer is used for starting to count a printing time after the print-head reaches the printing position. When the printing time equals the delay time, the timer outputs a printing signal to control the print-head to jet out an ink drop.

  • Publication number: 20070166203
Abstract: The present invention provides a self-sealing high-temperature biochemical reaction apparatus and a method for the same. The present apparatus has a microfluidic channel including a main channel chamber, an inlet sub-channel and an outlet sub-channel. The main channel chamber has an inlet and an outlet respectively communicated with the inlet sub-channel and outlet sub-channel. The inner diameters of the inlet sub-channel and outlet sub-channel are smaller than that of the main channel chamber. The present invention controls the temperature gradient of the main channel chamber and sub-channels during the biochemical reaction such that the microfluid itself becomes self-sealing material to seal the openings of the sub-channels during the high-temperature reaction. The microfluid would not be vaporized to adversely influence the reaction result.

  • Publication number: 20070126691
Abstract: In a 3D display having a plurality of display regions and corresponding backlight regions, the image data is sequentially sent to the display regions. The respective light source(s) of the corresponding backlight region is/are turned ON after a response time of each display region, without waiting for a response time or times in the other display regions. The light source(s) is/are then turned OFF after a predetermined time period. The process repeats for further image data.

  • Publication number: 20070084279
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling micro-fluid temperature is provided. The apparatus includes a chip, a fixed stand, a heat-absorption block, and an actuator. The chip has a reaction chamber for disposing a micro-fluid, and the temperature of the micro-fluid rises by heating the chip to reach the required reaction temperature. In the cooling-down operation, the heat-absorption block can contact the chip when pushed by the actuator, so as to dissipate the heat from the chip by way of heat conduction. Moreover, in the heating operation, the heat-conductive block is out of contact with the chip such that the micro-fluid in the chip is quickly heated, so as to reach the required reaction temperature of the micro-fluid rapidly.

  • Publication number: 20060242832
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a micro nozzle is disclosed. The method includes the following steps: providing a substrate having a channel for fluids, wherein the thickness of the substrate is D1 and the depth of the bottom of the channel is D3; forming a protrusion having an acute angle ? on the edge of the substrate through the cutting operation; and further forming a nozzle with a thickness D2 of on the tip of the protrusion. The outlet of the channel is located on the tip of the protrusion. Moreover, the thickness of the nozzle on the tip of the protrusion is less than the depth of the channel or than the thickness of the substrate. The micro nozzle made by the method illustrated above can provide a reliable and stable interface for electro-spraying.

  • Publication number: 20060017756
Abstract: An ink box detection system and method thereof are provided for detecting an ink box installed in an ink jet apparatus. The ink box has an identification circuit to generate a reference voltage. The detection system includes a voltage divider resistance with a power supply, a connector for connecting the identification circuit of the ink box and the voltage divider resistance with the power supply, a voltage supplier, a voltage detector connected to the connector and the voltage supplier, and a controller connected to the voltage supplier and the voltage detector. The voltage supplier provides an adjustable voltage that is adjusted by an adjustable digital signal from the controller. The voltage detector includes a single comparator for comparing the adjustable voltage with the reference voltage. When the adjustable voltage is the same as the reference voltage, a detection signal is outputted to the controller to identify the ink box.
