  • Publication number: 20030121383
Abstract: A paper punch includes a base having a protrusion on a top thereof and three passages are defined vertically through the protrusion. Each of the passages has a punch head assembly received therein. A gap is defined between the protrusion and the top of the base. A handle has a groove defined therethrough and an index member is movably engaged with the groove so that the index member can be moved to a position above the chosen punch head assembly which is moved downward to punch papers in the gap by pivoting the handle.

  • Publication number: 20030121384
Abstract: A paper punch includes a base and a raised portion extends from a top of the base. A handle is pivotally connected to the base. Two passages are defined through the raised portion and two punch head assemblies are respectively received in the two passages. Each punch head assembly includes a post and a punch blade. A lower edge of each of the punch blades has two tips and a recess is defined longitudinally in a lower end of each of the punch blade. A spring is engaged in each of the recesses of the two punch blades.

  • Publication number: 20030029291
Abstract: A paper trimmer includes a base having a plurality of trimmer devices connected thereto and a top member is mounted on the base and has a center hole through which a tube extending from the base extends. The top member has multiple extensions which is fixed on the base and the trimmer devices are located between the extensions. A pushing handle is rotatably mounted to the tube and has a tongue extending therefrom which is located above one of the trimmer devices. The chosen trimmer device can be operated by pushing the pushing handle.

  • Publication number: 20030029289
Abstract: A paper corner trimmer includes a first blade having an extension extending perpendicularly from a side thereof and a second blade is engaged with a shaft which extends through the extension. A torsion spring is mounted to the shaft and two legs of the spring respectively engage with the two blades. The second blade is slightly curved so that an angle is maintained between the two blades. Two positions on two ends of the cutting edge of the second blade are respectively stopped by two stop points on the first blade when the second blade is located at its two extreme positions.

  • Patent number: 6445760
Abstract: Partially-synchronous and non-integer integrated circuit counters for dividing a high-speed reference clock signal with a selectable divisor have been provided. The circuits use a high-speed synchronous counter that cycles between the use of a selectable and a fixed divisor, to give the counter circuit a selectable overall division ratio. The partially-synchronous counter circuit uses asynchronous dividers to complete the division process and to minimize power consumption. A non-integer counter circuit is provided that includes a edge select mechanism to reduce power consumption in the division process. Examples are presented with specific number of stages, and corresponding divisors and divisor ranges. Method for implementing the above-mentioned partially-synchronous and non-integer counter circuits have also been provided.

  • Patent number: 6016733
Abstract: A card corners cutter includes a body having a top surface with two sides and a bottom, the two sides each having a tube attached thereto in which a spring is received. Two guides extend upwardly from two sides the top surface. A passage and a slot are respectively and transversely defined through the body. A working surface is defined in the top surface and located lower than the top surface so as to fixedly position a first knife member on the working surface. A recess is defined in the bottom of the body and communicates with the passage and the slot. A first pin and a second pin are respectively received in the passage and the slot. A torsion spring is mounted to the first pin. A handle is pivotally connected to two ends of the second pin and is limited by the two guides.
