    Abstract: The present invention relates to a sizing agent composition, a sizing agent, a carbon fiber covered with the sizing agent, and a composite material. The sizing agent composition includes a polyamic acid and an alkali agent. The alkali agent has a specific molecular weight, and there is a specific molar ratio between the polyamic acid and the alkali agent, such that emulsification stability of the polyamic acid and thermal stability of a sizing layer consisting of the sizing agent are enhanced, thereby increasing interlayer bonding strength in the composite material that is made by the carbon fiber covered with the sizing agent.

    Abstract: The disclosure is related to a bandwidth management method performed in a network switch and a network system. In the method, a total bandwidth usage is firstly metered, and it is determined if the total bandwidth usage reaches a threshold for triggering a flow-limit process. This threshold acts as a bandwidth-usage threshold obtained by multiplying a total bandwidth by a meter-triggering threshold. The flow-limit process is triggered if the total bandwidth usage reaches the threshold; otherwise, the system will not intervene with the usage of bandwidth if the total bandwidth usage does not reach the threshold. In the flow-limit process, the class of a user is identified. Guaranteed bandwidth is provided for a prioritized user. A normal user will be restricted to using the bandwidth aside from the guaranteed bandwidth. The bandwidth provided for the normal user may exceed the available bandwidth based on an adjustable system parameter.

    Abstract: The disclosure is related to a host detection method for a network switch and a system thereof. When an SDN switch is online, flow entries, priority 100 and priority 310 with a meter used to filter ARP packets, are added to the switch. When packets are received by the SDN switch from a host, the host's MAC address and IP address can be learned by an SDN controller using the above flow entries. A metering of flow entries allow the number of packets entering a central processor of the switch to be controlled for reducing workload. Flow entries, priority 110 and priority 330, having the same number as detected hosts, are added. The counting results are used to determine whether each host is online or not. Further, the MAC address and IP address of the host can be updated.
