  • Patent number: 9022820
Abstract: An asymmetrical contact terminal includes a root portion and at least one first branch and at least one second branch which are spaced apart. The first branch has a first arm portion and a first tip, and the second branch also has a second arm portion and a second tip. The first branch further has a protrusion selectively connects the second arm portion for deforming the force distribution and enhancing the engagement between the contact terminal and an associated housing. The instant disclosure also discloses a fabrication method for making the same.

  • Publication number: 20130177182
Abstract: A vibration speaker includes a top cover, a bottom cover, at least one transducer plate and at least one conductive connector. The top cover and the bottom cover define a space to accommodate the transducer plate and the conductive connector. Each transducer plate includes a conductive plate, a first smart material layer coated on a first surface of the conductive plate, and a first electrode layer formed on the first smart material layer. The conductive connector presses on the transducer plate, wherein an insulating layer is coated on an area between the first surface and the conductive connector but excluding the first electrode layer, such that the conductive connector electrically contacts the first electrode layer but is insulated from the conductive plate.

  • Publication number: 20130163805
Abstract: The invention is directed to a securing apparatus for a vibration speaker, the securing apparatus including at least one fastening plate fixed to or pressed on the vibration speaker; and at least one suction cup correspondingly attached to the fastening plate. When the at least one suction cup is adhered to a vibration plate, the suction cup draws the fastening plate, which then presses on the vibration speaker, such that the bottom of the vibration speaker bonds with the vibration plate.

  • Publication number: 20130163793
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a vibration speaker with a securing device. The vibration speaker includes a transducer, and a bottom having at least one groove. At least one fastening element corresponding to the at least one groove is capable of being inserted into the groove. The transducer is driven to generate vibration, which is then transferred to a vibration plate via the fastening element.
