    Abstract: A keypad manufacturing method and a device thereof are disclosed. The keypad manufacturing method includes the steps of: (1) pouring materials for a keypad into a mold; (2) covering a film on the mold; (3) film printing: arranging a printed layer on the film; (4) attaching a layer of positioning plate; that's to attach the film with the printed layer on the layer of positioning plate. The device consists of a film which is a transparent layer; a keypad set formed by a plurality of keypads arranged on the film and a connecting piece is located on bottoms of two adjacent keypads; a printed layer disposed on bottom of the film to form characters or symbols corresponding to the keypads. Therefore, the manufacturing of the keypad device is easy, convenient for mass-production, with lower cost of related equipment, reduced operation time and higher yield rate. Moreover, both economic benefits and competitiveness of products are improved.

    Abstract: A keyboard is disclosed. The keyboard consists of a circuit board, a plurality of metal dome and a button set. The plurality of metal domes is arranged on the circuit board and is electrically coupled to the circuit board. The button set is composed of a plurality of buttons that respectively are corresponding to the metal domes. A piece of leather or cloth is disposed on the button set so as to make users have good sense of touch and prevent figures from being worn or falling off. Thus the aesthetic appeal is improved. Moreover, a supporting frame is disposed on the bottom set so as to prevent the buttons with leather or cloth from moving along with other buttons being pressed. Furthermore, a lighting device is added into the device for projecting light onto surface of the button set. Thus users can operate the buttons under dingy environment.

The housing has an annular surface or a plurality of hoods. The circuit board is coupled electrically to the keypad set. The circuit board and the keypad set are adapted in the housing. The plurality of light-emitting devices is adapted in the housing and in the periphery of the keypad set. The light emitted by the plurality of light-emitting devices is reflected by the annular surface or the plurality of hoods, and by the sidewall of the housing, and is then projected to the surface of the keypad set.

    Abstract: A keypad assembly is mounted on a substrate of a cellular phone and has a metal sheet, a base sheet and a template. The metal sheet has a bottom and a top. The base sheet is mounted on the bottom of the metal sheet. The template is mounted on the top of the metal sheet and can be modified or decorated so cellular phone manufacturers can do some extra work on the template. The cellular phone with the template of the keypad assembly can improve the appearance and increase the value of the cellular phone.
