    Abstract: A retrofitting method for a beam with an opening is disclosed. The retrofitting method provides a hoop cooperated with an inclined stirrup to form a reinforcement set. The hoop is used to enclose the opening; and the reinforcement set may be selectively adjusted according to the distance between the edge of opening and a column face. The retrofitting method and reinforcement set are not only suitable for openings located in the non-plastic hinge zone of the beam, but also suitable for the openings located in the plastic hinge zone.

The controller may receive the data value and store the bits based on a mapping between the bits and the memory components. The mapping may be determined based on routing one or more of the bits associated with one or more defective memory components of the memory components to one or more other memory components of the memory components. The controller may also drive the light-emitting device to emit light based on the bits stored in accordance with the mapping.

    Abstract: A connector clip is disclosed. The connector clip includes a base, a cover, a hinge coupling the cover and the base, and a fastener. The base has a first base side joined to a second base side via a connecting base side. The cover has a first cover side joined to a second cover side via a connecting cover side. The fastener holds the first base side and the first cover side in a fixed position when the connector clip is in a closed configuration in which the connecting base side is parallel to the connecting cover side. An internal cable opening is formed in part by the connecting base side and the connecting cover side when the connector clip is in the closed configuration. The connector clip secures a cable passing through the internal cable opening and connected to a board in its place in the closed configuration.

    Abstract: A storage apparatus includes non-volatile memory cells formed on a memory die, each memory cell configured to hold bits of data, and a control circuit formed on the memory die. The control circuit is configured to calculate parity data for data to be stored in the memory cells and program the memory cells to first distributions. The control circuit is also configured to read the memory cells in the first distributions, recover the data from results of reading the memory cells in the first distributions combined with the parity data, and further program the memory cells from the first distributions to second distributions to store the data. In some cases, the recovered data may have a high bit error rate. To handle higher bit error rates, the use of soft bit data is incorporated into an encoded foggy-fine scheme.
