The manufacture parameters grouping and analyzing method includes the following steps: A plurality of process factors are classified into a plurality of groups. In each of the groups, an intervening relationship between any two of the process factors is larger than a predetermined correlation value. In each of the groups, at least one representative factor is selected from each of the groups according to a plurality of outputting relationships of the process factors related to an output factor or a plurality of sample amounts of the process factors. Finally, the representative factor is used for various applications.

    Abstract: A method of managing a keypad of a handheld electronic device comprises promoting a user whether a size of the keypad needs adjustment when the handheld electronic device is in a single hand operating mode. If the answer is yes, the handheld electronic device then detects a movement of a finger of the user on a touch screen thereof. When a movement of the finger along a diagonal direction of the keypad away from the keypad is detected, the size of the keypad is increased. When a movement of the finger alone the diagonal direction of the keypad toward the keypad is detected, the size of the keypad is decreased. When the movement of the finger is stopped and a “Done” button is pressed, the adjustment of the size of the keypad is completed, and the size of the keypad after adjustment is stored in a storage module.

    Abstract: A coverless linear light source light guide with hooded bracket for holding a light emitting diode (LED) module to the light guide is disclosed. The hooded bracket is disposed around the light receiving end of the light guide and comprises a hood top, a hood back, two hood sides, and two hood grasps disposed on the hood sides. The hood back comprises the light receiving end of the light guide where light enters the light guide. The hood grasp comprises grasping elements that mate with grasping elements of the LED module to securely hold the LED module to the light guide. The hooded bracket ensures that the distance between the LED module and the light guide and the angle of the LED module and the light guide is constant which maintains optimal alignment and proximity in order to conserve received light intensity and maintain uniformity of emitted light.

    Abstract: A coverless linear light source light guide with a light reflecting patterned surface that eliminates the need for a reflective cover is discloses. The light guide comprises an elongated polygonal transparent material. The light reflecting patterned surface comprises a plurality of peaks and a plurality of valleys with a valley disposed between each peak. As the light reflecting patterned surface extends along the light guide the depth of each valley increases and the width of the floor of each valley narrows. Closest to the light receiving end the valley depth is shallowest, the valley floor width is widest, and the height of the peak from the valley floor is shortest. Farthermost away, the valley depth is deepest, the valley floor is narrowest, and the height of the peak from the valley floor is the tallest.

The polygonal light pipe comprises a transparent or semitransparent material. A patterned surface on the light emitting surface of the light pipe diffuses the emitted light. A patterned surface on the surface of the light pipe opposite the light emitting surface reflects light. The plurality of heat pipe assemblies comprise heatsinks and heat pipes. The heat pipes are hollow pipes that are filled with a liquid such as water or coolant and cooperate with the heatsinks to dissipate heat.

    Abstract: A light guide bar with a patterned surface for a flicker free light source comprising a light emitting diode (LED) light source disposed on each end of the light guide bar is disclosed. A light diffusing pattern is disposed on a light emitting surface. The light diffusing pattern comprises a plurality of notches that are smallest closest to the LED light sources and largest in the center of the light guide bar. A light reflecting pattern is disposed on a light reflecting surface opposite the light diffusing pattern on the light emitting surface. Light emitted by the LED light sources enters the light guide bar through the ends. The light travels through the light guide bar at various angles and is reflected by the light reflecting pattern on the light reflecting surface. The reflected light is then emitted through the light diffusing pattern on the light emitting surface.
