  • Publication number: 20090277528
Abstract: A fabric for detecting vital signals from human body includes a layer of fabric and electrically conductive yarns. The layer of fabric is formed of weft and warp electrically insulating yarns woven together. Electrically conductive yarns is woven in parallel with weft or warp electrically insulating yarns and interval-spaced from one another. Each of the electrically conductive yarns has a wave-shaped detecting section. All wave crests of the wave-shaped detecting section are protruded out of a surface of the layer of fabric while all wave troughs of the wave-shaped detecting section are woven within the layer of fabric. Each of electrically conductive yarns has its all wave crests misaligned in position with all wave crests of its immediately adjacent electrically conductive yarn. Each of electrically conductive yarns has its all wave troughs misaligned in position with all wave troughs of its immediately adjacent electrically conductive yarn.

  • Publication number: 20090270708
Abstract: A sports clothes including an inner layer structure and an outer layer structure is suitable to be worn on a human body. The inner layer structure includes a main part, an elastic structure, at least two fabric electrodes, and at least one fastener. The elastic structure is connected with the main part. The two fabric electrodes suitable for contacting with the skin of the human body are directly knitted on the elastic structure. The fastener is nailed on the elastic structure and electrically connected with the two fabric electrodes. The parts of the outer layer structure and that of the inner layer structure corresponding to at least one of the shoulder, partial neck portion, and armpit are connected. The outer layer structure covers the inner layer structure completely.

  • Patent number: 7412281
Abstract: A wireless transmitted electrocardiogram monitoring device is disclosed. A conductive fabric of the device features on that it is used to be a sensing component with characters of comfort, air permeability, softness, and stretchability thus achieves long-term signal measurement. The processing and transmission method of electrocardiogram signals is characterized in the wireless transmission of the electrocardiogram signals being detected. The signal receiving component (part) is for collecting data, displaying, storage, output and calculation of values. Therefore, a wireless transmitted electrocardiogram monitoring device is applied for long-term monitoring of the physical status of users.

  • Publication number: 20080183063
Abstract: A textile structure for detecting body surface electrical signals of human is provided. The textile structure includes a non-conductive textile, a conductive textile, and a plurality of test terminals. The non-conductive textile covers the human body. The conductive textile has a first region, a second region, and a third region. The first region is interdigitated into but not electrically coupled to the third region. The first to third test terminals are respectively coupled to the first to third regions of the conductive textile. The first and second test terminals are used for detecting ECG signals. The first and third test terminals are used for detecting respiratory signals.
