  • Publication number: 20200290298
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing sunglass lenses, and a sunglass lens. The method comprises the following steps: S1, manufacturing of a color powder sheet: a color powder is added to a color powder sheet base material in a corresponding proportion to manufacture a plain color powder sheet; and S2, manufacturing of a lens: the color powder sheet manufactured in S1 is fixed in a cavity of a lens mold, a molten colorless and transparent lens base material is injection-molded in the cavity of the lens mold and is then integrally combined with the color powder sheet in the cavity of the lens mold, and demolding is carried out after cooling, so that a sunglass lens is manufactured. The problem of chromatic aberration of existing sunglass lenses or scratches of films on the existing sunglass lenses is solved.

  • Patent number: 8515249
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for writing a playable unfinalized disc. The method generally includes the steps of (a) recording data to the disc, (b) calculating a length of metadata based at least in part on a writing position on the disc, (c) determining a content of the metadata based at least in part on a data format and/or a disc format, and (d) recording the metadata to the disc at a position following and adjacent to the data. The apparatus generally includes (a) a disc loader configured to write data to the disc and to write metadata to the disc at a position following and adjacent to the data, and (b) a burning engine configured to send the data to the disc loader and to calculate a length of the metadata based at least in part on a writing position on the disc. The present invention advantageously allows users to view and/or share video content at any time without finalizing the disc (e.g., without recording on the lead-in area of the disc).

  • Publication number: 20080056672
Abstract: A method for transforming a multimedia data format is provided, applied for transformation of multimedia data in a first format to multimedia data in a second format. The multimedia data comprises a plurality of video object units (VOBUs). The first format may be the DVD-VR format or the DVD+VR/-VIDEO format, as well as the second format. Multimedia data in a first format comprising multimedia data, first timing information, and size information is provided. The first timing information indicates playback time of each VOBU by a number of playback frames. The first timing information is transformed to second timing information. The second timing information (VOBU_E_PTM) is derived from a number of playback frames and frame playback time. The size information of each VOBU is transformed to address information of each VOBU. The multimedia data in a second format comprising the second timing information and the address information of each VOBU is stored.

  • Publication number: 20070065105
Abstract: Data recovery methods for data recording applied to a storage medium. It is determined whether multimedia data is detected on the storage medium. If the multimedia data is detected, determining whether reconstruction of management information associated with the multimedia data is required for the storage medium according to the checking results. If the reconstruction of the management information is required, a recovery process is executed.

  • Publication number: 20070041296
Abstract: Methods and systems for disk finalization are provided. It is determined whether triggering of a disk finalization operation is required by monitoring a recording process for recording or editing data on an optical storage medium loaded in the optical read/write system. If triggering of the disk finalization operation is required, the disk finalization operation is performed to store disk closed information on the optical storage medium. The disk finalization operation is triggered when no more content can be recorded on the optical storage medium or when fatal write or read errors have occurred.
