  • Patent number: 9442579
Abstract: A touch device warning method and a touch device warning system are provided. The touch device warning method provides multiple judgment mechanisms. The multiple judgment mechanisms include the mechanism of judging whether a touch device is triggered by a touch pen, the mechanism of judging whether the touch device is moved and the mechanism of judging whether an untouched time period of the touch pen and the touch device exceeds a predetermined time. Once the conditions of the judgment mechanisms are satisfied, the touch device warning method warns the user of taking back the touch pen. Consequently, the possibility of losing the touch pen is reduced, and the occurrence of the erroneous judgment is avoided.

  • Patent number: 9229598
Abstract: A touch pen for a capacitive touch screen is provided. The touch pen includes a signal receiver conductor, a signal detecting and adjusting circuit, and a signal transmitter conductor. The signal receiver conductor receives a first touch signal from the capacitive touch screen. The signal detecting and adjusting circuit enlarges the first touch signal to a second touch signal having a standard intensity with a first magnification factor, a second magnification factor and a third magnification factor. The signal transmitter conductor issues the second touch signal to the capacitive touch screen. According to the second touch signal, the capacitive touch screen senses a position of a touch point of the touch pen.

  • Publication number: 20150286310
Abstract: A passive touch pen for a capacitive touch screen is provided. The passive touch pen includes a first pen tube, a second pen tube, a fixing post, a conductive pen tip, a circuit board, and a conductive element. The first pen tube is made of a conductive material. The second pen tube is made of a nonconductive material. The conductive element is connected with a negative trace of the circuit board and contacted with the first pen tube. Consequently, the electric energy of the human body is transmitted to the conductive pen tip through the conductive element. Moreover, a negative electrode part is electrically connected with the negative trace of the circuit board through the first pen tube and the conductive element. Consequently, the complexity of the fabricating process and the fabricating cost are reduced.

  • Publication number: 20150286309
Abstract: A passive touch pen for a capacitive touch screen is provided. The passive touch pen includes a conductive pen tube, a solid fixing post, and a conductive pen tip. The solid fixing post is disposed within the conductive pen tube. The conductive pen tip is sheathed around the solid fixing post and exposed outside the conductive pen tube. The conductive pen tip includes a protrusion part. The protrusion part is protruded from an inner surface of the conductive pen tip and contacted with the solid fixing post. After the conductive pen tip is compressed in the direction toward the solid fixing post, the conductive pen tip is restored to a non-compressed original shape in response to a restoring force of the protrusion part. Since the conductive pen tip has the elastic protrusion part, it is not necessary to form a vent in the solid fixing post.

  • Patent number: 8370772
Abstract: A touchpad controlling method and a touch device using such a method are provided. The touch device is applied to an electronic appliance. The touch device includes a touchpad and a coordinate transformation program. The touchpad is used for detecting a number of touching points in response to the touching gesture on the touchpad and the position of each touching point. If the number of touching points is equal to 1, the electronic appliance is operated in a relative coordinate mode. Whereas, if the number of touching points is greater than 1, the electronic appliance is operated in an absolute coordinate mode.
