  • Patent number: 7334979
Abstract: A substrate transfer apparatus (100) includes a base (40), first and second cassettes (1, 2), a adjustable cassette (6), and a push unit (50). The adjustable cassette (6) is between the first and second cassettes, and has a pair of side walls (640), a top wall (630) interconnecting the side walls, and a height-adjusting mechanism (63). The base supports the first and second cassettes and the adjustable cassette thereon, and defines a central slide groove (41) therein. The push unit includes a slide portion (550) and an urging portion (500). The slide portion can slide in the central slide groove. The height-adjusting mechanism can adjust a height of the adjustable cassette according to the height of the first cassette and the height of second cassette. The urging portion can push substrates in the first cassette into the adjustable cassette and further into the second cassette.

  • Patent number: 7246708
Abstract: A cassette (1) for holding and transporting substrates includes a chassis (11), a pair of supporting walls (30) facing each other, a pair of first pivot elements (40), and a pair of second pivot elements (42). The first and second pivot elements are pivotally connected to the chassis and supporting walls, respectively. Each of the supporting walls includes a plurality of supporting members (301) protruding inwardly therefrom. The chassis and the supporting walls define a space for accommodating the substrates on the supporting members. A distance between the supporting walls can be easily adjusted by pivoting the pivot elements. Thus the space defined by the chassis and the supporting walls is adjusted accordingly, in order to accommodate substrates of a particular size. The cassette is adaptable for use with substrates of various sizes simply by pivoting the pivot elements.

  • Publication number: 20050087470
Abstract: A stackable container (100) for storing panels includes a box (61) including a plurality of sidewalls (62, 64) and a bottom (63), the sidewalls and bottom cooperatively defining a receiving space having an opening (66); and a holding means (70, 80, 90) removably engaged in the box, for receiving and holding the panels in the box; wherein an area of the opening is larger than an area of the bottom. When the stackable container is not in use, the holding means can be removed, so that the box is empty. A plurality of the boxes can then easily be stacked. In addition, a plurality of the holding means can be easily stored together. Consequently, the stackable container saves a great deal of space during storage and transportation thereof. Thus, the costs of storage and transportation of the stackable container are reduced.
