  • Patent number: 6856989
Abstract: A file system for file sharing includes a web server that creates a temporary directory for each session between the web server and a client computer. When the client computer requests a file located in a file server, the web server creates a symbolic link to the file in the temporary directory and a web page including an URL to the symbolic link. The web server transmits the web page, and therefore the file, to the client computer. Client computer can also upload files to the web server. The web server saves the uploaded files to the temporary directory and then moves the files to the file server. At the end of the session, the web server deletes the temporary directory. Thus, files are not saved on the web server and therefore not accessible to others from the Internet. In this file system, file and directory names are orderly incremented in the file server to simplify the back up process of the file server.

  • Patent number: 6816212
Abstract: The present invention relates to an assembling structure of a metal frame and an electric module for use in a liquid crystal display. The metal frame comprises an inside portion and a straight portion. The inside portion has a plurality of holes formed on a side of the metal frame. The electric module comprises a circuit board and at least one straight strip. The straight strip is mounted on a side of the circuit board. The straight strip has a plurality of hooks formed in positions corresponding to the holes. The hooks are adapted to be accommodated in the holes so as to assemble the electric module on the metal frame. Therefore, according to the invention, the electric module can be assembled easily on the metal frame. The grounding of the electric module electrically connects to the metal frame. The grounding characteristic of the electric module is good, and the circuits of the electric module work stably.

  • Publication number: 20030147023
Abstract: The present invention mainly relates to a liquid crystal display device comprising a housing and a panel module. The housing comprising a mold frame, a plurality of fixing pieces and a plurality of fixing structures being adapted to fix the fixing pieces to the mold frame, wherein the mold frame is adapted to hold and support the panel module, wherein each of the fixing pieces comprises a panel module fixing rib to hold the panel module, and a lateral fixing portion to be coupled to the mold frame. The present invention avoids using metal frames in the prior art and reduces weight of the liquid crystal display device; furthermore, the housing and mechanical strength are up to a standard of utility in this field.

  • Patent number: 6594536
Abstract: A method and computer program for dynamic matching of wafer lots waiting for processing and available tools to maximize wafer output. Wafer lot information and tool capability and availability is provides. Priority wafer lots are processed first. All permutations of the remaining non priority lots and available tools are then formed. The longest process time for each permutation is then calculated. A permutation wafers per hour, PWPH, equal to the total number of wafers processed for each permutation divided by the longest process time for that permutation is calculated. If only one permutation has the highest PWPH that permutation is selected for processing. If more than one permutation has the highest PWPH the total wafers per hour, TWPH, equal to the sum of the wafer per hour capability of each tool in the permutation is calculated for those permutations. Any permutation with the highest PWPH and TWPH is selected for processing.

  • Patent number: 6146154
Abstract: An improved light bulb holder structure includes a housing, a heat insulation layer, a main body, and a bottom cover. The main body is disposed inside the housing. The heat insulation layer is disposed between the housing and the main body. The bottom cover is fitted and fastened to a bottom portion of the housing. The main body includes a substrate plate and a connecting seat. The substrate plate includes a printed circuit board having a stepless switch and necessary electronic components thereof soldered thereon. Three upwardly extending upper terminals are soldered to an upper side of the circuit board to be secured with the connecting seat as an integral whole. Two downwardly extending lower terminals are provided on a lower side of the circuit board to connect to electrical wires of a power source. The improved light bulb holder has advantages of cost and material savings.

  • Patent number: 5959394
Abstract: A wire connecting structure for lamp holders includes a lamp holder cover and a retaining element. The lamp holder cover may be directly fitted on an upper end of alamp holder and is provided with a coupling slot for receiving the retaining element and a wire. When the retaining element is assembled to the lamp holder cover, it presses the wire downwardly so that the wire is pierced by a pointed end of an electrically conductive terminal of the lamp holder to make the electrical connection.
