    Abstract: A method for improving the EMI performance of an LCD device is disclosed, adapting for a point-to-point transistor transistor logic interface of the LCD device. The disclosed method comprises the following steps: receiving a plurality of image data based on a fifth CLK signal; providing a first CLK signal and a second CLK signal to a plurality of source drivers by a timing controller, wherein the frequencies of the first CLK signal and the second CLK signal are smaller than the frequency of the fifth CLK signal, the phase of the first CLK signal is different from the phase of the second CLK signal; and the timing controller transmitting a plurality of first image data to the plurality of source drivers based on the first CLK signal, and the timing controller transmitting a plurality of second image data to the plurality of source drivers based on the second CLK signal.

    Abstract: A TFT LCD driving circuit, a timing controller and a method for reducing the power consumption thereof are disclosed, wherein the timing controller includes a video data determining circuit, and a power-saving source/gate timing control circuit. The video data determining circuit receives a video data and obtains an effective resolution parameter value from the video data. If the video data is not a full-frame video data and the effective resolution parameter vale of the video data is smaller than the resolution of the LCD panel, the video data determining circuit triggers the power-saving source/gate timing control circuit to control the operation of a plurality of gate driver ICs and a plurality of source driver ICs of the TFT LCD driving circuit, in order to reduce the number of the “turning-on” times of these gate driver ICs and source driver ICs.

    Abstract: A circuit for amplifying a display signal transmitted to a repair line by using a non-inverting amplifier is disclosed, which comprises a voltage follower, a non-inverting amplifier, a repair line, a thin film transistor (TFT) and a liquid crystal (LC) capacitor. The voltage follower is electrically connected to a data driver chip to thereby provide a display signal to the non-inverting amplifier. The non-inverting amplifier amplifies the display signal to thus obtain an amplified display signal, and transmits the amplified display signal to the TFT and the LC capacitor through the repair line. The amplified display signal is kept at a desired voltage level when the LC capacitor receives the amplified display signal.

    Abstract: A power-saving data driver for stepwisely applying alternating driving voltages with a predetermined number of steps to a plurality of data lines in a liquid crystal display is disclosed. The data driver is comprised of a clocking means, a plurality of reference voltages, and a plurality of analog voltage driver. The clocking means is used for providing clock signals for stepwisely charging and discharging. The plurality of reference voltages work as steps of said stepwisely charging and discharging. The reference voltages are distributed between the system voltage and the ground. Each of the analog voltage driver corresponds to one of the data lines. A given pixel is stepwisely driven from a driving voltage of the last pixel as a beginning voltage to a driving voltage of the given pixel as a target voltage. The reference voltages between the beginning voltage and the target voltage are turned-on in order according to the clock signals generated by the clocking means.
