Abstract: A patient interface for treatment of sleep disordered breathing, the patient interface comprising: a strap comprising: an anterior portion configured to be positioned anterior to the patient's face in use; and a seal-forming structure formed by or provided to the anterior portion; wherein the anterior portion of the strap is shaped to form a plenum chamber; wherein the strap forms a positioning and stabilising structure to provide a force to hold the seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on the patient's head.

Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a positioning and stabilising structure for a patient interface, comprising a first textile portion comprising a front section and a rear section, the front section and rear section forming a continuous loop of material; wherein the front section comprises at least one opening and is configured to house a plenum chamber adjacent to the at least one opening; wherein when in use, the first textile portion is movable between a first resting position and a second breathing position, the front section configured to overlay a patient's frontal bone and the first textile portion configured to at least circumferentially and resiliently fit to the patient's head in the first position, and the front section configured to overlay the patient's zygomatic bone and the first textile portion configured to provide a force to hold the plenum chamber in a therapeutically effective position on the patient's head in the second position.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a patient interface for delivering breathable gas to a patient. The patient interface may comprise a cushion module including a plenum chamber. The plenum chamber may be substantially flexible. The plenum chamber may be configured so that a superior portion is able to move relative to an inferior portion in order to adjust an orientation of a superior portion of a seal-forming structure relative to an inferior portion of the seal-forming structure. The patient interface may further comprise a positioning and stabilising structure to provide a force to hold the cushion module in a therapeutically effective position on the patient's head. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise a strap arranged so that the strap overlies the cushion module, the strap passes around the sides of the patient's head inferior to the patient's ears, and the strap overlies a posterior region of the patient's neck.
