  • Publication number: 20240087896
Abstract: Methods of forming line-end extensions and devices having line-end extensions are provided. In some embodiments, a method includes forming a patterned photoresist on a first region of a hard mask layer. A line-end extension region is formed in the hard mask layer. The line-end extension region extends laterally outward from an end of the first region of the hard mask layer. The line-end extension region may be formed by changing a physical property of the hard mask layer at the line-end extension region.

  • Publication number: 20090211009
Abstract: A toilet tank flush device includes a water feeding tube, a flush valve, a flexible connecting member, and a hydraulic actuator valve assembly. The actuator valve assembly includes a cylinder, a swing rod, a piston rod, and a resilient member. The cylinder includes an inlet portion, and an upright cylinder body formed with a plurality of overflow holes. The swing rod is connected pivotally to the cylinder. The connecting member interconnects the swing rod and the flush valve. The piston rod is movable within the upright cylinder body between first and second positions. When an electromagnetic valve is opened to allow water to be fed from the water feeding tube into the inlet portion, the piston rod is moved from the first position to the second position to pivot the swing rod to thereby open the flush valve. The resilient member biases the piston rod toward the first position.

  • Patent number: 7322615
Abstract: An adjustable plumbing fitting is adapted to adjust a length of connection between supply and inlet pipes, and includes a sleeve member, a collar member, and a sealing member. The sleeve member includes an annular section sleeved on and threadedly engaged with the inlet pipe, and a protrusion extending radially from an outer surface of the annular section and abutting against the supply pipe. The collar member includes a tube section sleeved on and threadedly engaged with the supply pipe, and a shoulder formed radially from an inner surface of the tube section and abutting against the protrusion to thereby interpose the protrusion between the shoulder and the supply pipe. The sealing member establishes a watertight seal between the inlet and supply pipes. The sleeve member is selectively displaced on the inlet pipe to vary a depth of insertion of the inlet pipe in the supply pipe.

  • Publication number: 20060196555
Abstract: A control stop includes a body housing a plug which has a retaining ring coupled on one end, a water regulation rod screwed on a seat located below the plug, and an elastic element coupled on a center strut of the seat. The elastic element has one end pressing the bottom of the plug. The water regulation rod may be turned and moved upwards and downwards to form a gap between the water regulation rod and the bottom of the plug. When a flush valve coupled with the control stop is flushing, water pressure pushes the retaining ring to move the plug downwards and alter the gap to form an opening to allow water to pass through. In the non-flushing condition, the plug is pushed upwards by the elastic element so that the retaining ring seals the outer bottom end of the orifice to stop water flow.

  • Publication number: 20060197342
Abstract: A connector to bridge a control stop and a flush valve of a flushing system includes a connection duct which has an external screw thread to couple with a water inlet end of the flush valve, a bushing which has an external screw thread to couple with a middle portion of the interior of the connection duct and another end inserting into a water discharge tube of the control stop, and a first flange extended outwards on another end close to the connection duct, and an adjusting nut which has a second flange extended inwards to be coupled between one end of the connection duct facing the control stop and the first flange of the bushing. Thus by turning the adjusting nut to move the water discharge tube close to or away from the flush valve, the interval between the control stop and the flush valve may be adjusted. The screwing forces can resist the water pressure from the control stop to the flush valve, and prevent water leakage from occurring on the coupling portions.

  • Publication number: 20060196542
Abstract: A vacuum breaker is adopted for use on a water discharge end of a flush valve in a water supply piping system. It includes a valve which has a valve seat with a hollow section to house a plug. The plug is movable up and down under water pressure and a spring on the bottom to actuate flushing or stop flushing. The vacuum breaker further includes a coupling duct and a bushing housed in the coupling duct that is made from a flexible material. The coupling duct has a plurality of apertures near the top end. The outer wall of the bushing and the inner wall of the coupling duct form a gap therebetween. During flushing, the wall of the bushing is expanded outwards under water pressure to close the apertures to stop water overflow through the apertures. When the flushing stops, external air can enter through the apertures and the gap between the coupling duct and the bushing to balance the internal and external pressure and eliminate vacuum, and prevent back siphonage from occurring.

  • Patent number: 7082624
Abstract: A water-separating apparatus for toilet tank bridges a toilet tank and a water supply includes a concentric tube, a distributing tube and a solenoid valve. The concentric tube has a large tube containing a small tube, and an inlet connecting to the water supply and an outlet connecting to the distributing tube. The solenoid valve is connected to an inlet of the small tube of the concentric tube. The distributing tube has a large tube containing a small tube, and an inlet connecting to the concentric tube and an outlet connecting to a tube of the toilet tank. The concentric tube can divide the water supply to a plurality of water flows to meet multiple water supply requirements of the toilet tank and simplify the piping configuration outside the toilet tank.

  • Publication number: 20050278842
Abstract: A toilet tank automatic flush apparatus includes a detection module located outside the toilet water tank, a solenoid valve module and a flush module. The solenoid valve module is located outside the water tank and connected to a water supply head, and is controlled by signals from the detection module to activate a solenoid valve switch to channel water from the water supply head into a hydraulic cylinder of the flush module through a tube to generate a hydraulic pressure to push a hydraulic arm upwards to lift a rocker arm. The rocker arm has a distal end fastening to a rope to connect and open a water discharge valve so that water in the water tank may be flushed into the toilet in a large quantity. The solenoid valve switch stops water supply after a preset time period. A spring located in the hydraulic cylinder pushes the hydraulic arm and the rocker arm downwards to release the rope so that the water discharge valve may be closed and water may flow into the water tank again.

  • Publication number: 20050056322
Abstract: A flow control apparatus for flush valves of toilets is installed between the water intake end and the water outflow valve of a flush valve. It aims to generate a constant water outflow quantity under fluctuating water pressure. The flow control apparatus includes a flow control valve which has a flexible valve casing with a valve diameter alterable responding to fluctuation of water pressure to allow water to pass through and a filter which may be integrated with or independent from the flow control valve for filtering water flowing through the water outflow valve.
