The method comprises the following steps: obtains a current channel number, receives an instruction to determine a channel change direction, searches a first lookup table to find a target channel number according to the direction, searches a second lookup table to get channel information of the target channel according to the target channel number, and changes from the current channel to the target channel according to the channel information.

Abstract: A method of manually setting a channel within a frequency range. The method comprises the following steps. A start frequency and a surf direction are set, and then surf channels. When a target channel is found or a pause instruction is received, surfing pauses. An auto naming function is executed to obtain a channel name of the target channel. A user determines whether to keep the channel name in a channel list. Surfing is repeated until the entire frequency range is searched or a stop instruction is received.

Abstract: A method for automated channel installation comprises the following steps. In step (A), a frequency scanning operation is executed to lock on to a frequency. In step (B), it is determined whether the frequency scanning operation is complete, if so, the process proceeds to step (F), otherwise, to step (C).
