  • Patent number: 6739222
Abstract: Ratchet socket for fitting onto a screwed member. The ratchet socket is drivable by a tool to wrench the screwed member. The ratchet socket includes: a cylindrical main body formed with at least one internal circular hole and at least one through hole formed on the circumference of the main body and communicating with the circular hole; and a ratchet mechanism including a ratchet wheel rotatably disposed in the circular hole, a dog member movably accommodated in the through hole and a resilient hoop fitted around the main body to exert a resilient force onto the outer side of the dog member, keeping the dog member resiliently engaged with the ratchet wheel. When the dog member is engaged with the ratchet wheel, the ratchet mechanism provides a ratchet effect and the main body of the socket is one-way drivingly engaged with the ratchet wheel.

  • Publication number: 20040094002
Abstract: Hand tool handle with rotary cap, including: a handle having a seat section at rear end; a rotary cap having a cavity and rotatably disposed on the seat section with the seat section accommodated in the cavity; and at least one projection having a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the rotary cap or the rear end of the handle. The projection is positioned between top wall of the cavity and an end face of the seat section. The top wall of the cavity via the projection contacts with the end face of the seat section. When the rotary cap rotates on the handle, the projection serves as a support point for the rotary cap so as to facilitate rotation of the rotary cap.

  • Publication number: 20040094001
Abstract: Screwdriver structure including: a handle having a projecting section at rear end, a circumference of the projecting section being formed with a predetermined number of holes extending into the interior of the projecting section; a stem disposed at front end of the handle; and a rotary cap having a cavity inward extending from a bottom end of the rotary cap, an outer circumference of the rotary cap being formed with several through holes communicating with the cavity. The rotary cap is rotatably disposed on the projecting section which is accommodated in the cavity with the through holes corresponding with the holes. When operating the screwdriver, the palm of a user's hand can attach to the rotary cap. When turning the rotary cap, at least one through holes is align with, at least one holes. A rod can be inserted through the hole and the through hole to elongate the application force arm.

  • Publication number: 20040097298
Abstract: A golf club includes a club member having a hand grip and a club head disposed on the ends, and having two inclined surfaces formed in the front portion, and a cusp formed between the inclined surfaces. The cusp is preferably a rounded cusp for allowing the air to smoothly flow through the inclined surfaces of the club member. The club member may include one or more air passages for allowing air to flow through the air passage and to reduce eddy currents in the rear portion of the club member. The club member may include one or more depressions for vibration reducing purposes.

  • Patent number: 6732613
Abstract: Screwdriver with changeable operation modes, including: a handle having a slide way formed in the handle and passing through a front end of the handle; a stem, a rear end of which is slidably fitted in the slide way without detaching from the handle; a clutch mechanism connected between the stem and the handle, in normal state, the clutch mechanism being in a non-transmission state, whereby the stem can freely rotate within the handle; and a rotary member connected with the stem for a user's hand to rotate. When the screwdriver is used to screw a screw in a loosened state, the user can turn the rotary member to rotate the stem. In the case that the screw is in a tightened state, the handle is pressed to move the stem inward, the clutch mechanism is in a transmission state and the user can turn the handle to drive the stem.

  • Patent number: 6722235
Abstract: A torque wrench has a shank, an arm, a torque-adjusting device, a handle and an adjusting knob. The handle is mounted around one end of the shank and has a mouth. A window is defined in the periphery of the mouth. The adjusting knob is rotatably attached to the shank. A stepped protrusion formed on the adjusting knob is connected to the torque-adjusting device and is received in the mouth. A scale is formed on the outer periphery of the stepped protrusion and corresponds to the window. An index line is formed on the handle and corresponds to the scale. Accordingly, the scale can be easily read through the window with the index line. The mouth can provide a protecting effect to the scale to keep the scale from being worn off, such that the useful life of the torque wrench is prolonged.

  • Patent number: 6701808
Abstract: Wrench capable of preventing a screwed member from slipping out and holding the screwed member. One end of the wrench has a head section formed with a polygonal socket. Multiple teeth are formed on the circumference of the socket for engaging with the screwed member. An annular groove is formed in the head section and a resiliently stretchable retainer ring is disposed in the annular groove. An inner edge of the retainer ring protrudes into the socket to form a stopper section. When the socket is fitted onto the screwed member, the retainer ring serves to stop the screwed member from slipping out of the socket. Also, the retainer ring can be resiliently outward stretched from the annular groove to make the screwed member fitted into the retainer ring and held thereby.
