The switching control unit receives the multi-phase trigger pulse signal at the trigger pin in slave operation mode. The switching control unit generates an ON-trigger pulse according to the multi-phase trigger pulse signal and the corresponding phase serial order. An ON-period determination unit generates a conduction control pulse according to the ON-trigger pulse to control a corresponding inductor. The trigger pins of the converter modules are coupled to each other.

    Abstract: A casing structure with functionality of effective thermal management is disclosed, which consists of a casing member, a low thermal conductivity medium, a second heat spreader, and a first heat spreader. When a user operates the electronic device, heat generated from CPU and/or GPU is transferred to the second heat spreader via the first heat spreader, and then is two-dimensionally spread in the second heat spreader. Consequently, the heat is dissipated away from the casing member to air due to the outstanding thermal radiation ability of the casing member. The low thermal conductivity medium is adopted for controlling a heat transfer of heat transferring paths from the heat source and ends to the casing member. By applying the casing structure in an electronic device by a form of a top casing and/or a back casing, an outer surface temperature of the casing member can be well controlled.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are drug-containing vesicles, each of which includes a carbon dot liposome (C-dot liposome) formed by a plurality of Janus particles, which are self-assembled into the C-dot liposome; and a drug encapsulated within the C-dot liposome. Also disclosed herein is a method of producing the drug-containing vesicles. The method includes, mixing a plurality of Janus particles with a drug solution (e.g., an anti-cancer drug solution) to form a mixed solution; and producing the drug-containing vesicles either by a film-hydration method or an injection method. In the film-hydration method, the mixed solution is condensed until a film-like structure is formed; and sonicating the film-like structure in a salt solution to produce the drug-containing vesicle. In the injection method, the mixed solution is rapidly injected into a salt solution to produce the drug-containing vesicle. Also encompasses in the present disclosure are methods for treating a subject afflicted with a cancer.

    Abstract: A protection film and a method for depositing the protection film are provided. The method is used to form a protection film having low resistivity on a substrate. In the method, at first, a mixing operation is performed to mix a plurality of metal gases. The metal gases consist of silver, magnesium, and aluminum, or consist of silver, copper, and aluminum, or consist of copper, Nickel, and aluminum. The metal gases have two or more atom sizes. Thereafter, a depositing operation is performed to deposit an amorphous metal film on the substrate by using the mixed metal gases. The atoms of the amorphous metal film are arranged in a short-range order. Then an annealing treatment is performed to anneal the amorphous metal film to form a meta-stable metal film having averagely distributed grains to be used as the protection film.
