Abstract: A lens array block comprises a plurality of lens barrels joined to one another form a three-dimensional unitary structure. Each lens barrel comprises a stepped cylindrical chamber having a through hole with an internal profile having first and second steps that are spaced apart through the height of the through hole, the second step being radially inward of the first step. An image capturing unit comprising the lens block array, and methods of fabrication and assembly are also described.

Abstract: An exemplary backlight module (200) includes a light guide plate (210) having a light incident surface (211), and a light source assembly (220) provided adjacent to the light incident surface of the light guide plate. The light source assembly includes a light source (221) and a light reflector (225). The light source includes a first portion and a second portion. A brightness of light emitted from the first portion is less than that of light emitted from the second portion. The light reflector is configured for reflecting light beams emitted from the light source toward the light incident surface of the light guide plate. The light reflector includes a first region (226) corresponding to the first portion of the light source and a second region (227) corresponding to the second portion of the light source. A reflection capability of the first region is greater than that of the second region.

Abstract: An exemplary liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel, and a one-piece frame accommodating the liquid crystal panel. The frame includes a plurality of side walls arranged end to end, a supporting board extending inward from inner surfaces of the side walls, and at least two liquid crystal panel fixing members. The supporting board abuts the liquid crystal panel. The at least two liquid crystal panel fixing members press at least one respective lateral side of the liquid crystal panel such that the liquid crystal panel is pressed slightly toward the supporting board.

Abstract: An exemplary backlight module (22) includes a light guide plate (23), a light source (27) adjacent to a lateral side of the light guide plate, a reflector (25) under the light guide plate, and an optical dot sheet (24) between the light guide plate and the reflector. The backlight unit includes a reflector (17) and a lamp (16) received in the reflector. The reflector includes a hook (175). The second frame includes a through hole (145). The hook engages in the through hole, thereby facilitating the fixing of the reflector to the second frame.

The bottom tray includes a bottom plate (281) and a pair of opposite holding arms (282) extending from the bottom plate. The light guide plate is provided on the bottom plate, and includes a light incident surface (252). The light source assembly includes a light source (271) located adjacent the light incident surface of the light guide plate and a reflective shell (272) accommodating the light source. The reflective shell includes two fixing arms (275) extending from two opposite ends thereof. The light source assembly is fixed to the bottom tray by engagement of the holding arms of the bottom tray and the fixing arms of the light source assembly.
