  • Patent number: 6947191
Abstract: An adjustment apparatus of a reflection mirror is disclosed, the apparatus comprising a holding base plate, an affixing block affixed on the holding base plate, at least one adjusting set, and a rotatable chassis affixed onto the affixing block, wherein the reflection mirror is affixed on the rotatable chassis. Moreover, the adjusting set comprises an adjusting screw and an adjusting spring. The adjusting screw is mounted onto the holding base plate and transpierces the holding base plate to fix an extending portion of the rotatable chassis. The adjusting spring associated with the adjusting screw supports an extending portion of the rotatable chassis to counterbalance the adjustments in the adjusting screw. When the adjusting screw is rotated in, the rotatable chassis rotates along a first direction and compresses the adjusting spring. When the adjusting screw is rotated out, the rotatable chassis rotates along an opposite direction to the first direction and stretches the adjusting spring.

  • Patent number: 6922228
Abstract: A cooling device for a reflective liquid crystal image kernel has an air duct unit on the external case, which is separated into front and rear end ducts and has an axial fan blowing downward. A guide plane has both of its lateral sides aslant downward to guide part of the air flow blown from the axial fan to the split air duct of each light valve on the outer side of the air duct unit to cool the outer surface of three light valves fixed on the outer case of the kernel. The air blown downward from the axial fan passes through the front and the rear air ducts of the air duct unit directly, and passing through the ventilation holes of the external case into the optical components such that a single fan is used to enhance heat dispersion and reduce noise.

  • Patent number: 6808296
Abstract: The present invention sucks the air from the fan at the top of the imaging assembly of the optical engine and blows the air via the air duct device downward. Some of the air is guided by the diversion board, aslant guiding surface, and aslant isolating board of the air duct device and blown into the imaging assembly for cooling the optical components. Some of the air is guided through a first air duct, a second air duct, and a third air duct extended from the outside of this main body respectively to the outer surface of the light valves. Further, some of the airflow is guided into a branch air duct and blown to a vent of the imaging assembly. By means of the changing direction diversion board, the airflow is guided towards the polarizer module, and flows out from a vent on the other side.

  • Publication number: 20040174625
Abstract: A strengthened mirror structure includes a reflection mirror with a reflection surface and a back surface respectively at the opposite sides thereof, and at least one strengthening element such as a honeycomb plate. An adhesive is used to stick the strengthening element on the back surface of the reflection mirror. Whereby, the bending-resistant capability of the reflection mirror while being suspended in midair is enhanced so as to prevent the mirror from deforming and further to enhance a picture quality, and the safety problem about mirror cracking can be guarded against so as to improve a product quality.

  • Publication number: 20040135930
Abstract: A casing structure of a rear projection display apparatus includes a substrate, a rear cover and a screen frame. An electronic module and an optical module are mounted on the substrate. A bracket is mounted on a front side of the substrate. The rear cover is fixedly assembled with the substrate via a slot, a flange and a screwing element. The screen frame is mounted on a front side of the rear cover. A panel and a speaker lid cover the bracket of the substrate to accomplish the casing structure. When components inside the casing structure are to be adjusted, only the panel needs to be removed, without changing the positions of the components inside the casing structure. Thereby, adjusting time is saved.
