    Abstract: A light guide includes a main body and a curved refracting face formed in the main body. As light enters the main body, a bright zone and a secondary bright zone less brighter than the bright zone are formed in the main body. The curved refracting face can be an inner wall face of a curved groove or a cavity disposed in the main body. Through the formation of the curved refracting face, the light in the secondary bright zone can be directed such that, when the light guide is disposed in a thin film keyboard, the brightness of a portion of the keyboard that corresponds to the secondary bright zone has improved brightness.

The movable unit is disposed corresponding to the conductive portions to electrically connect or disconnect the plurality of conductive portions to achieve the switch function. The switch structure utilizes the structural design of the circuit board to reduce the space on the circuit board preserved for a circuit board switch.

The recording of the scene-capturing image is continued when the predetermined condition is satisfied and the recording of the scene-capturing image is stopped when the predetermined condition has not been satisfied for a predetermined time period.

The electronic device includes a frame, a flexible display panel, a detent unit and a recovering unit installed in the frame and connected with the display panel. The frame includes a surface and a window formed on the surface. The flexible display panel, longer than the window, is partially exposed in the window and partially within the frame. The detent unit includes two arresting elements established in the flexible display panel and the window separately. The two arresting elements are capable of generating mutual interference. The relative motion between the flexible display panel and the window is not affected when an external force is greater than the interference. Therefore the electronic device has a display with a continuously adjustable area.

According to the disclosure, an electronic device capable of effecting improved battery performance comprises a central processing unit generating waste heat when being operative; a battery for supplying power to said electronic device; and thermal conducting means, first end thereof making thermal contact with said central processing unit and second end thereof making thermal contact with said battery, causing heat transfer between said central processing unit and said battery. Said waste heat generated by said central processing unit is transferred to alter the temperature of said battery such that its output voltage is stabilized and capacity enlarged.

    Abstract: A base enables the elevation of a panel to be selectively adjusted. The base includes a fixed flap, a supporting flap assembly and a hinge. The fixed flap is attached to the backside of the panel. The supporting flap assembly supports the panel. The hinge connects the fixed flap and the supporting flap assembly. The supporting flap assembly includes a top flap and a fan-wheel. The top flap has a protrusion on a surface thereof, and the fan-wheel has a plurality of recesses that are positioned to selectively engage the protrusion. The fan-wheel is connected to the top flap by a pivot that enables the fan-wheel to turn with respect to the top flap. The hinge enables the fixed flap and the supporting flap assembly to turn around the shaft of the hinge to position the supporting flap assembly with respect to the fixed flap. The elevation of the base can be adjusted by changing the extent to which the fan-wheel is turned with respect to the top flap.
