    Abstract: The present invention discloses an ESD protection device of an LCD display. The LCD display includes a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines, the scan lines and the data lines are crossed. The ESD protection device includes a discharging extension part, positioned at ends of the scan lines and the data lines, wherein a width of the discharging extension part is larger than line widths of the scan lines or the data lines; and an electro-static conducting part, positioned in peripheral of the discharging extension part, wherein the electro-static conducting part is close to the discharging extension part without touching the discharging extension part, and the electro-static conducting part is coupled to a common conducting layer to release electro-static charges on the scan lines and data lines via the common conducting layer. The present invention can enormously reduce the ESD damages on the pixel areas.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device and a liquid crystal display device. The method includes (1) preparing a TFT substrate and a CF substrate; (2) applying sealant resin to the TFT substrate or CF substrate to form an enclosing resin frame body that forms an entry opening on the CF substrate or the TFT substrate; (3) applying sealant resin to the entry opening of the enclosing resin frame body to form a closing section; (4) filling liquid crystal inside the enclosing resin frame body; (5) bonding the TFT substrate and the CF substrate together; and (6) subjecting the bonded TFT substrate and the CF substrate to curing at high temperature in order to cure the enclosing resin frame body.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a bezel sealant for use in a polymer stabilized vertical alignment liquid crystal display. The bezel sealant includes at least the following compositions: epoxy resin 20-60% by weight, curing agent 5-50% by weight, methacrylate resin or acrylate resin 20-60% by weight, photoinitiator 0.1-1% by weight, filler 5-35% by weight, and silane coupling agent 0.05-5% by weight. The molecular weight of the methacrylate resin or the acrylate resin is greater than or equal to 500. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the dissolution of the methacrylate resin or acrylate resin in the bezel sealant by the liquid crystal medium is prevented to avoid the over-sized bumps formed in the periphery of the bezel. Light leakage phenomenon in the periphery of the bezel is decreased to increase product yield rate.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a substrate, a LCD panel, a LCD device and a method of sealant coating, wherein the substrate of said LCD panel comprises one or more quadrangular display areas surrounded and formed by sealant; the starting points of the sealant around said display area overlap the ending points to form an overlap section; wherein said overlap section is positioned at a corner of said display area. Because the application connections are just at the corner, the extra sealant can be directly cut off during cutting; in addition, the contamination by material extrusion after pressing caused by overly thick sealant coating at the connections can be avoided; and the man-hour of multiple cuttings can be reduced. Because the sealant overlap section is at the corner of the display area and will not diverge from the display area, the difficulty in controlling the width of the lines is solved.
