    Abstract: Various solutions for data transmission over multiple uplink carrier with respect to user equipment (UE) in mobile communications are described. A UE may establish a connection over a downlink component carrier and a first uplink component carrier with a network apparatus. The UE may further establish a connection over a second uplink component carrier with the network apparatus. The UE may transmit uplink data to the network apparatus via at least one of the first uplink component carrier and the second uplink component carrier. The UE may also assign the first uplink component carrier as a primary carrier and assigning the second uplink component carrier as a supplementary carrier. The UE may further switch the primary carrier from the first uplink component carrier to the second uplink component carrier.

    Abstract: A method for processing input data for use in a time-deinterleaver of a receiver is provided. Input data is first received, wherein the input data is data inputted to the time-deinterleaver and includes a plurality of symbols and each symbol includes a plurality of samples and each sample includes a signal quality (SQ) data corresponding thereto. A down sampling ratio is then determined according to a channel condition. The input data is down-sampled in the time and/or the frequency domain with the down sampling ratio according to whether a modulation mode is a single carrier mode or a multi-carrier mode and outputting the down-sampled data. Thereafter, the outputted down-sampled data is stored in a data buffer of the time-deinterleaver for further signal processing.

    Abstract: A method of mixed-scaling-rotation CORDIC (MSR-CORDIC) with scaling-free rotational operations is disclosed. An elementary angles set is extended by representing the elementary angles as the arctangent of the division of two single signed-power-of-two terms to an enhanced extended elementary angles set. A combination of elementary angles is found from the enhanced extended elementary angles set such that the residue angle error can be minimized. A MSR-CORDIC operation is used to perform the rotating and scaling transformation simultaneously.
